I am disappointed there was no sea creature. Maybe my child mind willed it into existence in one of the shore scenes.

Oof, yes. Riven was god damn amazing! I only played the demo.. But I remember being Blown Away when I first saw that sea creature at the beginning, crawling into the ocean. Or am I imagining that? I played it when I was a wee kid..

Definitely backing this next month after payday. toblix, I think UE4 is the most advanced of them (e.g, the particle system is super cool, hence the insane amount of it in the teaser). But how beautiful It looks is more up to how good the artists are than the middleware. And Cyan's artists seem to be doing a solid job in that department. Not arguing, just wanted to expand on that.

I dont know what the new season is like, but you didn't miss out on anything last season, toblix. It only got marginally better when they focused on some simpler, more basic plot stuff (an episode only about three characters on a simple supply run was my favorite), but as a whole I thought last season was pretty dull and oh so full of awful, insane stuff happening in that town. Not as god-awful as the second season, though.. I keep putting up with the very mediocre quality of this show. It somehow always manages to hit just enough highs to drag me back to it every week..

I hadn't thought it through, as you point out it'd be impractical for them to be the same width. It still just.. It sticks out so much more now that they're on the same plane..

Just watched JP's alpha demo... hoooooly shit Jake, that UI is slick! Good job. And yes, the game is really smooth. That demo is a much better representation of the game, really.

This is exciting stuff. Also, I love how unashamedly unfinished it looks in that reveal trailer, with characters sort of choppily hopping about. Still very good lookin', though. Very excited about the future of this.

Yes, what bothers me, a very irrational amount, is that the screens are different sizes. Makes absolutely no sense since they're one screen, and just rubs my OCD the wrong way...

Yeah, the 2DS is sounding more and more appealing. I agree about the 3D. Often I forget to turn it off, and find my experience no worse. I like the 3D, it's nice. But not at all essential, IMO. (Even for Mario 3D Land)

Wait, so because everyone with a non-stereo listening environment is too lazy to switch to a mono output setting, I (and others who possibly enjoy listening to this in stereo) won't get my stereo mix? :( I know, I know.. No one's demanding anything. But has everyone that's complaining about the stereo tried setting their PC/Android/iPhone to mono output?

If you're someone who listens to stuff with only one ear, then a good tip is setting your device to output everything in mono. On iPhone this is available in Settings > General > Accessability. I'm sure some equivalent setting is available in Windows/Android etc.

iTunes hasn't picked up the feed yet, but I downloaded Instacast today (which apparently is better than the default podcast app) which just lets you point it straight at the web feed.
