Just watched Civil Defense. I liked it. Kinda goofy but good fun and not boring. It's like they decided, ah.. hell let's deflate all the ominous seriousness out of Gul Dukat once and for all. That moment when he realizes the system has turned on him was pretty good. Quark and Odo's stuff was also pretty good. Now it's onto.. The Defiant! -

Yes. I had some memories of liking the intro as a kid but seein it now.. dear lord it's boring. At least TNG had the brilliant music. The music is good here but so slow that the whole thing becomes such a drag.. Don't have any memories of the Voyager intro. Look forward to that! -

I'm comparing them to the touch screen because Valve themselves do, as they say the fours quadrants of the touch pads are replacing the functionality of the touch screen..

The touch pads are clickable in four quadrants each. And one article mentioned Valve talking about somehow displaying their changing specific function on the touch pads themselves.. Don't know how. Their function is then shown on screen instead.

What? It's a touchscreen. It's not revolutionary.. or interesting. Maybe someone could've put four buttons on it, big deal. Those four buttons are now on the Big Owl Eyes (the actual interesting, new part of the controller)

So Valve have already redesigned its Steam Controller. The touch-screen is gone and the face buttons are in a more traditional place. I'm thankful for that, because those buttons looked very badly placed before.

Alright, I'm done with the finale. Might watch some of the other eps you recommended, SAS. But now I kind of want to watch some DS9. Was someone making a list on that? I'm going to need that. I might also watch some Voyager stuff at some point. Maybe someone knows of any standout episodes that are must watch. And lastly, is Star Trek: Enterprise worth watching at all? I never seem to hear anything good about it, as if everyone would rather it just not existed. -

Btw, Second Chances was a hilarious episode. Loved that he went out into the world as Thomas Riker. I wish he'd appear again in a DS9 or Voyager episode or something, and everyone'd be like "Hey, aren't you William Riker?" and he'd go "Oh, no, no.. I'm Thomas Riker." That'd be the best/worst. -

I'm having a hard time with the Crushers, yeah. They feel like they're almost there, but every time I look at them I want to adjust them a bit. Data could do with opening his eyes more! I'm very happy with how Riker and Troi turned out.. They looked awful when I started them. God damn it, it's hard to draw actual human beings (and androids; Klingons are easy!) Thanks -
