What's wrong with this picture, you ask? Well... nothing!!! I blame your lousy British internet service provider (or maybe that awful green skin). It has to be. Seriously, I've been using Steam for, well since it came out, and I've never, ever, have had any problems with it. Okay, one or two maintenance messages about the Friends Network, but you can still play the games. --Erwin

I do share your sentiment, though. I think guys that play the Sims used to play with their sister's Barbie dolls when they were little. Now, I can't stand the Sims, but I admit that even *I* did, at some point in my younger years, play with Barbie dolls. I must add that I played with my sister's dolls in a very manly way. I remember she had to get a new car, a Mercedes SLK, for her dolls because I damaged it. I think I watched a James Bond movie that evening before and now secret agent Ken was chasing the evil Barbie doll at high speeds with his brand new Mercedes. Ken didn't notice the coffee table because he was distracted by my sister who stormed into the living room, shouting something about keeping your damn hands off of my stuff. Anyway... I kinda forgot what I'm trying to say. --Erwin

On my rig, C: is a mere 5 GIG on which I only installed Windows 2000 and a virusscanner. That way I keep my system as fast as possible, because the dirty, messy files left by games and applications are on partitions on which Windows doesn't rely. --Erwin

You know, the speed of the processor, and even memory, aren't all that important compared to the kind of videocard you have. So I think we should really compare videocards with consoles. And I think you can get a pretty decent videocard that plays all the latest games for about the price of a PS2. --Erwin
