I think he just doesn't like concrete. --Erwin

Hehe, too bad you edited your post. --Erwin

Hehe, reminds me of what I read yesterday in Gilbert's Grumpy Gamer: But the lower price point could leave some buyers with the feeling that the game isn't worth the full price, and that somethings wrong with it. Game players are always screaming about wanting lower prices, but the truth is, if you lower the price too far, people stop buying it (unless it's a high profile game). --Erwin

The best magazine I've ever subscribed to was 'Hoog Spel'. Perhaps they were a bit too honest with their reviews, because they got into financial problems even though the magazine was quite popular. I also agree with PC Gameplay being good. It's a no-nonsense magazine. --Erwin

I read in some magazine, that installing both isn't a very good idea. They'll be in each others way, or something, which means both programs won't run at their best. --Erwin

I cancelled my subscription to PC Zone Benelux last month. I don't know why I didn't do that earlier, considering I'm mostly flipping through it very quickly. I wonder how long these magazines manage to survive in their current form. --Erwin

EVERYTHING is expensive nowadays. (Sorry. Just came back from the gas station and I think I'll sell my car and buy me a bike soon. ) --Erwin

If it's not beeping or flashing some leds then it's indeed the power supply. These things are a hell of a lot easier to fix when you've got a normal PC. And cheaper too. Most often it's just a fuse in the power supply that needs to be replaced. Here, it'll cost you 15 to 20 bucks if you take it to one of those general repair places. (Y'know, a shop that repairs broken TV's and radio's and shit) --Erwin

An Abuse of Basic Human Rights (in Doom 3, apparently)

I'll follow your example. --Erwin -
Good! I'm not going to spend a fortune on a new PC, but I think I'll update my ancient geForce MX440 before I'll buy HL2. I was thinking about a spending max. 120 Euro's. (Insert poor student rambling here.) I think you can buy a reasonable videocard for that money, no? --Erwin

Even the original CS_office has toilets. They're always occupied though. --Erwin
-
Do you also happen to know if you can put an 8x AGP videocard into an 4x AGP slot? --Erwin
-
What does that mean? --Erwin
-
Do these packages differ in size? And how much will you have to download anyways? --Erwin

You live in an entirely different world than mine, my friend. --Erwin

Is that a good 'whoa' or a bad one? I ask because last year somone didn't like my new haircut. He was like: 'Whoa! Did you fall off the fucking roof, or what!?' --Erwin

Why use books if there's TONS of information to be found on-line? I found phpfreaks and codewalkers.com to be very useful. --Erwin

Wait a minute... You're the fried-egg guy!? --Erwin

First of all; congrats! I'll most definitely bookmark this site. But, uh... You really shouldn't put future pages in the same directory, if you don't want people to read these. Don't worry, I haven't looked further than page 6. --Erwin
-
You should raise money. To fix the roof, perhaps? --Erwin

I don't believe in Tim. If he really exists, then why didn't he make Grim Fandango sell twice as much? Or even better? And why isn't he creating more adventure games? And, uh, maybe world piece or something? Yeah, that'd be nice too. --Erwin

(Just ignore the weird expression on that smiley.) --Erwin

You haven't clicked the link to see the final result? Man, it totally rocks! --Erwin

Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge flies!
Erwin_Br replied to Intrepid Homoludens's topic in Video Gaming
I totally loved it. Very original and refreshing flight 'sim'. --Erwin -
I'm using NAT too. Still, only one or two times I've seen that message you're talking about. And it doesn't mean you can't play a Steam game when the friends list is down. I don't really use the Friends list anyways --Erwin
