  1. Psychonauts in mags

No way, dude. A dog founded Adventure Gamers. What whas his name again? Uh... Lassi? Or something. --Erwin
  2. Dear (most of) middle America....

Hmmmyes, but surely you know that the air is nowhere as filthy as in the Netherlands, right? --Erwin
  3. Who will be president in 2008?

Nothing is scaring me more than Bush. I'm dead serious. I'd rather see Arnold as President than Bush. He's quite liberal, at least compared to Bush. --Erwin
  4. Who's going to win?

I'm all the way for Kerry, but I don't like that cheap Hitler argument being brought up again.
  5. San andreas?

It's slowly becoming a simulation, too. I mean -I have to work out to stay in shape (I could work out in the gym, but also run a few miles or take a bike and cross through the huuuge countryside). I need to eat and drink, I have to get a haircut, buy clothes, etc.. etc.. And yeah, the massive size of it all. I like it a lot. I think I'll like it even better on the PC, though. It's the first time I play a GTA game on a console, and the controls are... awkward. Long live the mouse!!!! Oh, and the graphics aren't that great either, compared to the PC (Vice City being reference material). --Erwin
  6. Who's going to win?

I hope Kerry, but it'll be Bush. I think it's going to be a close call, though. --Erwin
  7. Is Your Mom Hot?

My mother is 50 years old. 'Nuff said. --Erwin
  8. New Playstation 2

So two days ago the new PS2 was released here, and my brother bought it. It's twice as small as the original PS2, it's got some new hardware and has built-in Internet support. You can't really put it vertically anymore, though. Because it's too small and the CD tray is located on the top. (Or side, if you turn it vertically, heh.) I've been playing some GTA San Andreas on it, and I'm hugely disappointed by the graphics quality, compared to the PC version of Vice City. Small lines (powerlines in the street, for example) are incrediby pixellated. --Erwin
  9. Avatars must go! ...thus spake Kingzjester

*Looking at Jake's avatar* I'm wondering what those Holy Christians think, when they see their leader giving them the finger? I mean, goddamn! He's even wearing a cross on his tie! --Erwin
  10. Arhghghghg

Yes. It even supports the old 2x AGP standard. Anyway, mine's an ASUS which has 'GameFace' technology. That means I can display a little webcam window showing other players with a cam, while playing a game. Or watch TV at the same time. I still have to try it out. --Erwin
  11. Help with the Laptop

Flooded, huh? Well, that just had to happen sooner or later, when you live in a town named waterford. --Erwin
  12. PS2/Two and backward compatibility

Ha! You forgot to mark the 'a' in Rusalka! --Erwin
  13. Avatars must go! ...thus spake Kingzjester

I guess it's a webcam video (avi) from which the frames are exported to a graphics format (gif?) which images are reduced to 2 colours. You can do that manually but perhaps even with some kind of batch script in Photoshop or PaintShop Pro. --Erwin
  14. Avatars must go! ...thus spake Kingzjester

I don't know, but it's freaking me out! --Erwin
  15. Arhghghghg

Hey that's awesome! Your ATI Radeon 9600 XT card is exactly the one that I bought last week! If it's in an Alienware system, it must be really good. (I'm not very much into hardware either) I can tell you that Doom 3 plays great on it. The reason I bought it was Half-Life 2, of course (My previous card was a GeForce MX440 with 64 MB) --Erwin
  16. IGN reviews San Andreas: "9.9"

It's a leg, right? Or a very, very thick arm --Erwin

Is he sexually abusing that pumpkin? --Erwin
  19. show us your room!

Because every now and then I buy a new PC. This is my office or working place, not my bedroom, btw. The bedroom is next to this room, and has another PC. The attic has a lot of space, but it tends to get very hot here during the summer. This is another wall of the room, with my TV and my old stereo. --Erwin
  20. Avatars must go! ...thus spake Kingzjester

I was afraid it was a neck. I mean, look at Marek's picture. You never know. --Erwin
  21. show us your room!

  22. Avatars must go! ...thus spake Kingzjester

Ah, now you mention it. I see it's an upper arm. (It *is* an arm, right?) --Erwin
  23. IGN reviews San Andreas: "9.9"

If you think about it, these ratings become obsolete quite quickly because they're a reflection of time. --Erwin
  24. Avatars must go! ...thus spake Kingzjester

Which leg do you like better? Personally, I think it's a close call. --Erwin
  25. I just started playing. I bought a faster video card last week, so I really HAD to buy Doom 3, even though I'm not a fan of it at all. Anyway, it's like playing Half Life with the story and events being dumbed down. I mean, again I'm in a base, surrounded by scientists and soldiers. Again horrendous creatures break through after a human error. The way they presented the accident, the moment when hell breaks loose, is VERY shallow in comparison with HL. I mean, you look at a monitor. A scientist is getting very nervous and shit. And then you watch an explosion on a video screen. Wow. Here's a picture of me playing the game, btw: The good news is; My video card is able to play Doom 3 very smoothly on medium detail level in a resolution of 800x600 with all the options turned on (with 4x anti-aliasing) except vertical sync. or something. --Erwin
