Great episode! Had to make some quick choices that I later regretted. This game is pretty good at that -- at making your choices really matter.

I... burp thought it was measure the whole thing, then cut it into nine pieces. That's what I did anyway.. burp.

I've been playing a carpenter to get a bed headboard attached to the wall and away from the radiator. Makes me wish I had access to a proper workbench.

I must be a complete idiot, because that looks really bulky. I never had the original fat iPod -- only had a 5th gen one, but whenever I saw/held one of the thick ones, it seemed really fat and bulky. And the Zune is a bit more so. But if it was otherwise better in every way, I might have decided to get a Zune if I had needed one. I don't usually buy new hardware often (e.g. my current iPhone 3GS I've had 3 years and it's my 3rd ever phone, and I suspect it will last 1-2 more years -- the second one was a stupid Fujitsu Windows Mobile 5 PDA/Phone that was a real mistake to buy).

Yay. Got 4 tapes in one go, then bumped into a corridor with a killbot when ran out of ammo and had to escape from one of the flying drones.

Seems boring. I don't get it -- why are Bethesda making a game like this after Skyrim?

Man, I hope they release a patch that makes the game easier. I've been playing a bit every night and still haven't got more than 3 tapes. By now I think I've heard almost all of the different ones, though. Even managed to clean a room that had 7 (!) flying fucks at one time, but then either ran out of bullets or died some stupid death.

How clearly can you really separate that, though? A poorly dressed or groomed person will get a different treatment from many people compared to a really well-dressed one. Of course, that is something that one can change about himself/herself, even if someone from a higher class has a much easier way of it. But perhaps that is quite minor in the face of a prevalent gender/race/sexuality based privilege.

Seeing these videos (1, 2, 3) reminded me what a dumb game BioShock is. Sure, everything about the art and environments and so on is awesome, and it's worth experiencing for that alone, and it was great seeing that commentary, but otherwise it's a pretty average shooter with a plenty of cool mechanics, but the choices you make don't matter all that much. That's why I never got into BioShock 2 (seemed more of the same), although I'd like to play Minerva's Den. I think I will play BioShock Infinite just to experience the environments and atmosphere, though.

That gives me an idea for a video game. Shown a series of images of collectives of animals, type the correct words as fast as you can.

It's definitely not perfect, but there's something interesting enough that I keep coming back to try and get more than 2 or 3 tapes. I think for a game made in a week [citation needed] it's expected to find some flaws. I hope they'll find time to polish it a bit. PS. I've heard at least 6 different tapes, so it doesn't seem very fixed order to me.

Yes. Didn't watch Dishonored yet, though, but Watch Dogs had the same effect. I haven't watched a lot of coverage, but I'm getting sick of killing-based games so the E3 event doesn't seem very interesting.

I'm glad Watch Dogs is another assassin game. Clearly there isn't enough killing and murder in video games. But seriously, it could be great: GTA + Deus Ex on steroids.

For a moment I thought June was in August or something, but now I realize the new one is coming this month. Yay! can't wait.

Really liked the game. I had some minor quibbles but they were so minor that I already forgot what they were. It's brave to force the player to make some really tough choices. Don't know any recent games besides The Witcher series that did similar (and maybe Mass Effect or Dragon Age less so). Will be interesting to see how those choices affect the other episodes. When's the next one coming? [edit] Oh, remembered one point I wanted to make is that there were a couple of spots where I was stuck pixel hunting. The hotspots should be larger than just the center of an object.
