I don't know what you're trying to say here, except insinuate that everyone who didn't like it is a simpleton.

What genre? The game doesn't make this easy. I'm sure if I tried harder I could have liked it more, but I just didn't find anything besides the Island itself (mostly visually) that seemed interesting.

Seems that suddenly money started pouring in faster again. Maybe it's just people switching from lower tiers to higher ones.

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/02/23/wot-i-think-crusader-kings-ii/ One of the things I liked to attempt (but didn't succeed at) in Knights of Honor was to convert all of Europe to paganism. Sad that I can't even try it in this one. Also, is there really a time limit and the game ends in the 1300's or something? Is it enough time to realize your grand plans?

This is seems to be the most similar game (but also different) to Knights of Honor, which I loved despite its flaws. That's why I'm quite excited about this. I've also tried others like Europa Universalis, but couldn't get into them.

Man, it's funny re-listening to the very first episodes and witnessing the birth of the memes again.

So the thing I saw was not the ending then but a crash?

I got to level 35 before and then it was maybe 10 or so more

I've been recently reading bricks mostly. It took me 4 months to read Cryptonomicon. But then less than a month to read A Dance with Dragons. However, I enjoyed Cryptonomicon quite a bit more. Anyway, given my lack of e-book reader and the time it takes to order a physical book, I doubt I'll participate in the book club.

BTW I think this is an important game, just not my taste.

At least they didn't ask you to destroy a violin

Wow. You are mad! Idle Thumbs: Did you guys ever actually send that Resident Evil 5 copy to anyone?
-
EVERYBODY STOP PLEDGING! If you give them more money, they'll find a nicer place with no sirens.
-
Oh man, the sirens!

I started with the first one instead and am actually pretty amazed that even that one is the best episode, like (almost) every other.

If they make less than $4 million I'll send someone a boxed copy of The Last Express. [edit]does anyone want it?
-
I'm going to celebrate by re-listening to an episode (I never did that before). Which one do you recommend?

Hello funnyface!

Awesome! Very excited. Looking at the rate contributions are coming in, I don't think you have to be nervous, if you were nervous about whether you'll meet the goal

Deal. The winner will get gloating privileges.

I disagree. I mean, while playing it, I thought "man, I wish I could bunny hop through this". Seriously. Well, I don't give about jumping, but a run button would have been nice. The fact that I was thinking about that and not able to do it was a worse immersion destroyer than actually doing it. Whenever you guess wrongly about which path is the dead end that might have some more dialogue, you have to sloooowly walk back to the real dead end and then back again, if you want to find what's at every corner. It's punishing and is not cool. Luckily, I didn't guess wrongly much and I guess the game's learning curve actually is about getting better at guessing those things. You have some easy guesses in the beginning, and then it gets a bit harder. Oh, what brilliance. The game definitely does not work as a movie, and it does not work as a game. Passage did work, because it was 5 minutes long. This is just the same, but stretched to 2 hours. The story it told didn't really grab me. I'm sure if I was more open to it I could have enjoyed it more, but I was a little biased against it after playing the earlier version a bit. I would have forgiven all that if they were mistakes the author(s) made, but I think they were willing decisions and/or lazyness and disrespect for the player's time and it all smelled of pretentiousness to me.

$2 M Who wants to bet they will get $4 Million by the end?
