Well... they divided the whole series into four seasons as these seasons tell of different periods of Sakamoto Ryoma's life. First one has 12 episodes, second one 16 and then third and fourth have 10 each. So basically it's one season, but still "four". And it was on tv for exactly about one year from january to december as usually for taiga dramas.

Duke Nukem: Critical Mass for Nintendo DS just got released in Europe. Looks quite horrible. The only good thing seems to be that they got Jon St. John to do voice of Duke for the game.

Three seasons of Ryomaden watched now. Amazing show, I had no idea that NHK's taiga dramas can be this good. Masaharu Fukuyama is a great actor, the range of emotions he is displaying throughout the series is so wide.

I have never considered Zack Snyder to be a quality director. More like extremely overhyped guy, even though he did make a quite honest attempt at creating Watchmen as 1:1 movie of the comic book. I love Superman mythology and I'm really worried how Snyder will handle it. At least the whole movie will be in front green screen full of effects and that is one of my biggest issues I have with his works. Henry Cavill in the title role will propably work well as he was also considered to the role by Bryan Singer. Shame that Routh isn't there though.

Completed BttF: Citizen Brown yesterday. Thoughts are still short in the game's own thread, but more will be propably written later.

Oh man! I just finished the third episode and it is clearly the best so far! Less mistakes, more polish and a great story! Can't wait to get more this, funny that this time they just said next part "coming soon" instead of just giving the month and year etc. The voices are geat and Claudia Wells was a really nice addition to the cast! Hopefully we will get to see her as the normal Jennifer also in the last episodes.

Going to eat my words on that, just last week Nintendo Europe leaked out information and pretty much confirmed that Xenoblade is coming to Europe later this year with name Xenoblade Chronicles. Also Last Story seems to be coming in 2012 to at least Europe so they are really stretching the release of great games on Wii at the moment. Here's Nintendo UK's trailer for Xenoblade.

That is surprising that McCaffrey is coming back. Now I wish they would still get Sam Lake to do the cheesy awesome dialogue for the game. The new images look better, but still remind me that Max shouldn't be a muscle guy like he now or a beer belly guy like he was in the first screenshots, but lets see I kind of hope this ends up on PC even though it propably won't concidering Rockstar's track record outside of GTA.

How about when start+select are pressed at start up, wasn't there supposed to be some change in the size of the DS screen resolution after that?

My friend told me about this game and now I'm really craving to get to play this one. It's cinematic survival horror action/adventure game for the good old Commodore 64 from 1989. I wanted to play the game, but today it's been giving me a blank screen at the startup, what gives? I can't select the episodes and there is no play button available? Why the hell can't I play a game if Telltale's server is down? I thought these games work offline also. This is one of the reasons I hate "stay connected and play" services. EDIT: Now it seems working, but earlier it wasn't and telltalegames.com was not working either. Weird, I think BttF is the first Telltale game that doesn't seem to allow offline gaming.

Was released today about ten hours ago I guess. I played it for a bit before I eventually left for work. Didn't see any sloppy mistakes this time, maybe QA has tightened up as the season progresses. I just have to say I don't remember Claudia Wells that well from the first movie, but she is doing a fine job here!

I didn't know that Game Reactor is a free publication. At least the Finnish version of it is. I found it from a local shop while searching for 3DS demonstrations. There was a big story about Prey 2 and Rage inside the magazine. Looks like my fears are confirmed and this game is really nothing about Prey and they are just using the name get more people interested as the original did create a slight buzz five years ago and many people know the history of Prey that used to be vaporware. They said all kinds of interesting things in the article. I'll put some of the stuff here later. Chris Rhinehart, the project lead basically said something in the lines of that this will be nothing like the original, only the beginning references the original game. So why even use the same name then? Why use a space marine US marshall type generic fps character instead of creating something more unique or keeping Tommy there. This is just like Irrational using Bioshock in my opinion. I still wish Bioshock Infinite would be called something else. I can propably put the scans here later, as it's a free magazine so I shouldn't be breaking any laws.
