  1. Iron Brigade

Oh yesyesyesyes! The Amnesia Fortnight continues on PC platform. I knew this would eventually happen, it just had to. http://www.doublefin...s_coming_to_pc/ http://www.shacknews...to-pc-next-week http://www.theverge....-on-august-13th http://www.joystiq.c...-pcs-next-week/ And it includes the DLC!
  2. Far Cry 3

So, in the 4-player co-op, if one of the players is the main protagonist douchebag, then who are the three others? Clones of the same guy? How does that affect the Oscar worthy story of Farcry 3? And how does it affect the heavily scripted scenes like those seen on trailers where the bad guy of the story captures the main protagonist?
  3. Return of the Rise of the Triads

I actually am not interested in this remake pretty much at all, but what this has caused is that my purchase of Rise of the Triad in GOG is getting closer and closer. I am very much hyped with nostalgia right now to play the original. It has been at least 10 years since I have last played the original game. It blows my mind that RotT was made with heavily modified Wolfenstein 3D engine. That is amazing!
  4. Music of the games of video

I really fucking love video games and the video game soundtracks. So many unforgettable classics in this thread. The shame is not enough people in the world know that all this exists.
  5. I'd really like to see old Heavy Gear games and original Starsiege in GOG someday. I remember I used to have along time ago a demo of Heavy Gear 2, but never got it running as the computer I had at that time was really low end.
  6. Fresh Indie Game Compendium Extraordinaire

Murdoc's link leads to Q.U.B.E. if clicked. But CLOP is crazy!
  7. A new Kickstarter by Pendulo Studios

I remember waiting for Runaway for years and years ever since I heard of the first one during high school. I was really excited and was telling my friends about the game many times. I even went through the trouble of hunting a "big box" version of the game instead of just a dvd cover version. The end product was really not worth my time, but I did play the first one until the end. Bad characters, bad plot. I sold it immediately after I had completed the game.
  8. Return of the Rise of the Triads

I believe that was because of Tom Hall's contribution to RotT.
  9. Roguelikes

I really like Desktop Dungeons and Doom Roquelike. One of the first pc games I played on my first own computer was Nethack. Sweet, sweet times.
  10. Steam Summer Sale 2012

Because it cost less than four euros and I wanted to get Eric Chahi's new game because he is cool. I read the reviews and news about it last year that the PC version is a bad port, but at least didn't they remove the Ubisoft always on DRM from this one after enough people complained?
  11. Steam Summer Sale 2012

Alan Wake's American Nightmare Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth BioShock 2 From Dust Hitman: Codename 47 Hitman 2: Silent Assassin Hitman: Blood Money Trine 2 Collectors Edition The Walking Dead Poker Night at the Inventory PixelJunk Eden and today after the Summer Sale I caved in and bought Jade Empire Special Edition which I have never played before.
  12. So yeah, also this happens at Olympics. 100 000 condoms and athlete orgies.
  13. Lego

That Raspberry Pi "case mod" looks awesome! I don't build or collect Legos anymore, I think I silently gave all that we had to my brother's kids years ago. The Lego game that I've played the most is Lego Racers. That was an awesome Mario Kart style clone over 10 years ago. The new Wii U game Lego City Undercover looks very interesting. I didn't even remember it was announced a year ago already at the previous E3.
  14. Thirty Flights of Loving

By the way, the copyright says MMXI in two places even though the game was released in 2012? I noticed Steam downloaded a 550.6 KB and 548.9 KB update to the game today. Seems there's a new nice title screen that I didn't have before. By the way, the game crashed twice when I tried changing the default resolution and put some anisotropic filter to use, it just got stuck and I had to close it with Task Manager. So in the end I just played it with the default settings.
  15. Thirty Flights of Loving

Oh man that was an awesome experience. The music is great and the Puffin mode blew my mind. I kind of was hoping that:
  16. New people: Read this, say hi.

    Welcome to the forums!
  17. General Video Game Deals Thread

Because We May is a great idea! I love it that it goes over almost every platform. Found already what I wanted and bought immediately two games.
  18. Oh yes! This game is looking great and I have to say I had immediately thought of Marek having something to do with this when I heard that Sega is publishing this. Wait.. wot? Damn, well I hope he has something great lined up now after Sega. It is really damn annoying to read comments on any site that's covering the news about the Cave. There is an unbelievable amount of people who think this is the Kickstarter project. Well, timing for this is really bad, but still people just don't seem to get that this is Ronzo's (two headed) baby.
  19. New Forums! Post feedback, notes, etc here

Oh yes, under the User Tools. Awesome!
  20. New Forums! Post feedback, notes, etc here

The new forum is looking really snappy! I like it a lot, I was going to complain that the join date of user is no longer visible, but at least it can be seen when viewing a user's profile. If people start changing their names a lot now, how do we (I) know who is who?
  21. Well, Thumbs

I have to say, that is one kickass Super Cars avatar. Now there is a great game that I haven't played in over 15 years...
  22. The Electronic Three: 2012

Six million sold in Japan and one million in UK. Don't know about USA or the rest of Europe and rest of Asia. Steam chat would be great, last year I joined for the Nintendo talk and it was hilarious. Shame I can't join the chat this year however as we are leaving to Japan this week on Sunday for a month.
  23. Maximillian Payne: Part Trois

Isn't the PC version still like over a week away from release? I have my doubts about MP3, I don't like the cover shooting that they have added to the game just because every game these days has that... Also as a Finn and Remedy fan I miss Sam Lake's dialogue, it was funny in the previous games. I laughed when I heard James McCaffrey's voice also talking Max Payne stuff in Alan Wake suddenly.
  24. Videou Ghames!

  25. G4ming Keyb0rdz

I used to always have Keytronic keyboards in the past, mostly a few KT-3000 keyboards, about like what Nappi posted. These days I try to find those rare keyboards that don't have any shortcut buttons or other extra buttons. I want my keyboard to be plain and simple old school layout, but I also wanted to get rid of extra cords on my gaming desk. At the moment mine isn't completely old school as Logitech annoyingly tried to save space and changed the home/end/insert etc. buttons from 2x3 horizontal rows to 3x2 vertical rows. So mine at the moment is Logitech Cordless Desktop MK 250. At work I have basic HP keyboard due to my employer having a contract with HP, but instead of regular mouse I use RollerMouse Free2 that looks something like this: And that solution is because 8-10 hours every day using computer at work is killing my wrists that were already damaged because of 20 years of gaming at home and this helps A LOT.
