If you guys ever do another Kickstarter or similar I'll gladly pay again 50 dollars. By the way, you guys mentioned in the beginning that you've moved into a new place? Did you mean with that Campo Santo or the Thumbs office? I know CS moved to a new location at least since I saw the Twitter posts about that.
-
Man I haven't listened to new Thumbs episodes in *ages*, I've been mostly going through old episodes archive. I feel like I took a time machine to future from like year 2012. When did the mid-cast ads start? Regarding Pepsi, the weirdest stuff I've ever eaten is Pepsi flavored chips in Japan some three-four years ago. Just gotta love those weird limited edition things that come out of any possible product in Japan. Pepsi co. and their license handling company Suntory in Japan is especially nuts about doing limited weird products with absolutely horrible taste.

Excellent news! Finally it is coming.

I'm going to bring this old thread to life because just as a reminder, Sony and Media Molecule are closing down LPB Karting and LPB Portable aka PSP versions servers globally during this summer. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-07-01-all-littlebigplanet-game-servers-shutting-down-in-japan First there were some rumours going around that all LBP servers are being shut down globally, but things have clarified a bit. For some reason also LBP 1,2,3 and Vita servers are still going to be shut down in Japan. But other countries should be fine, for now at least. This has reminded me that I should get on playing LPB Karting at least a bit and maybe Portable as well before things will shut down forever. LBP Karting was a PS+ game a year or so ago. Anyway, this kind of news sucks as LBP is a franchise that lives because of sharing levels etc.

This one is definitely on my list for the future. No time to play it now, but someday in the future I'll get it, maybe in a sale, especially if it comes to GoG. My GoG library is growing crazy fast. It got some bad reputation because the Steam version apparently uses Denuvo, and some people seem to have performance problems because of that. The only Denuvo game I have is DooM and that plays perfectly on my aging PC so I don't understand the complaints. Does Denuvo mean that games can't be played offline on PC?

Awesome that the Coldblum is in stock again. Shame that I'm so poor bastard that the shipping costs to Finland for me are 16.50 USD for one Coldblum and 22.50 USD for two Coldblums. I think I may have to pass at least until if someday Idle Vice comes in other sizes back to stock than ladies S size. Then I'll dip in whatever the costs and get both Coldblum and Idle Vice. Weeeeeeeeelllll lets see, the temptation to own a Coldblum is high, so I may have to cave in now already and just buy it.

I doubt there is a refund chance here. Especially since it's been almost a week already since I made the dumb decision to buy the dlc in the eshop.
-
Yeah, if anyone wants it, I can sell it a bit cheaper than what the price is in eShop.
-
Weird, after today's 2,5gb update I get just blank screen when starting the game on PC.

I should never start testing things when I'm tired. I got the Fortissimo edition of TMS#FE and I started the game without looking at the box and it's contents carefully. Decided to jump to eShop from inside the game's menu and noticed there was some add-on content for the game so I went and purchased it. Then next morning I started checking the art book etc and I noticed there's an included download code for ALL of the DLC...
-
I finally got the Wii U code today. But I'm still missing the Ray DLC that everyone was supposed to get. I had to contact Comcept again regarding that. I'm actually a bit lost at how many DLCs there are for this game. Loading times are "nice", even going to options in the main menu takes about 15 seconds of loading. After dying the loading is 27 seconds. Haven't really played it further than the opening level yet, but yeah it doesn't look or feel that great...

The game was released in the European Wii U eShop today morning. It's available for purchase. But apparently Kickstarter backers are not as important as regular users. My backer code is still nowhere to be seen and Comcept are not replying to emails. I sent them a mail about the backer code to the mail that was listed in Humble Bundle pages.

I put already a lot of money in GOG's summer sale that just ended, in Steam's summer sale pretty much only DooM 4 is interesting deal. Just released and already -40% in price.
-
So UK is exiting EU now it seems. Interesting times ahead. WIll UK remain in EEA or exit that also? Countries like Norway belong in EEA, but not EU.

Sonic Twitter account is just about making jokes. Sonic Twitter made a joke about what the dumb Comcept guys said in the final Twitch stream when they just weirdly said "It might not be a perfect game, but it's better than nothing." So they basically admitted that they made a bad game.

Other KS mistake I did is a Greek dev's The 90's Arcade Racer which has gone a crazy bullshit few years development time with almost no development update posts and especially after Nicalis appeared as publisher everything went to hell.
-
I haven't even received my code. I wonder will I ever receive it. My biggest mistake in Kickstarter...

I really liked the trailer for the Valhalla edition that I saw during E3. They've also put some effort in the gamepad usage for Wii U and I will for sure be purchasing this one when it arrives. The art style and animation is sooooo good.

I simply loved the original Mafia. It was an awesome game with really cool missions etc. I did play through the second one and even though the city looked amazing, but also quite empty like it was just a sandbox where you go from point A to point B and there's much nothing in between. The third one I haven't paid attention pretty much at all. I don't have any interest in it, but I'd really like if whoever owns the rights to the first game would release it in GOG / Steam, that would be awesome.
-
I'm planning on buying it at some point, the demo was alright. Not even close to the greatness that original DooM games were, but still I think I'll get it when price is lowered and sales come. The DLC at least is looking to be complete bs so that I won't be touching even with a discount.

Damn it, but computers have become really complicated
Kolzig replied to Erkki's topic in Idle Banter
I just bought a used 770 a few months ago. I've been really happy with it as every game I've tried with it runs perfectly. Even DooM 4 demo, which was a positive surprise to me as I also have just a Core2Quad processor and not even i5 or i7.The gpu has a bit annoying noisy stock fan, but I can live with it. -
Only in North America I wonder when it's coming to Europe? It has been promised a release here as well. I wonder if it will be digital only for Europe like it seems to be in America. E: looks like it should be coming as physical and digital according to Nintendo UK's website unless plans have changed. No real release date though... http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-3DS/Rhythm-Paradise-Megamix-1091313.html

Dragon Quest 7 is finally coming to Europe and North America in September. No mention of DQ8 however...Also Nintendo announced some new rpg ip just like that during the Treehouse stream. It's called Ever Oasis. Also Rhythm Heaven Megamix was just announced and released to the eShop as a digital only release and only in North America, no mention of Europe. I have that game from Japan as a physical release that I bought over a year ago. Would've liked to have the same for Europe... I had the loading problem with the logo screens in the beginning with the demo and the mp beta. However that happened only the first time, second starting of the game the logo splash screens ran normally. I don't know what the problem was?

This E3 just keeps on giving. Nintendo announced HAL Laboratories excellent game BoxBoy's sequel BoxBoxBoy is coming in two weeks to the eShop in both Europe and North America! I've been waiting for that to come to Europe ever since they announced it for Japan last year. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2016/06/e3_2016_boxboxboy_is_coming_to_the_3ds_eshop_on_30th_june
