This movie looks awesome. Popcorn movies kick ass. You people who'd prefer to watch something artsy can stay out of this thread.

http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,9540458%255E13762,00.html I didn't even know that Mexico had an airforce.

GameSpot has some screenshots of GTA: San Andreas here. They don't look too bad, but they're not awe inspiring either. What do you think?
-
You should watch more popcorn movies.
-
Roland Emmerich: Stargate, Independence Day, Godzilla. That's a good track record. I'd prefer to watch these movies over some political statement, war in Iraq, strange, art house crap.

Everyones got an opinion. I agree with Chepito.

I've played two BioWare games. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights. I like KOTOR and didn't like NWN. (I can't stand those dungeon RPGs that have all those pointless and geeky rules.) I hope that Dragon Age will be more like KOTOR. It's based on BioWare's own universe and set of rules, so it has the potential. Jade Empire looks like it's shaping up to be a more KOTOR-like game. I'd be pretty pissed if they made a stupid NWN style of RPG. What do you people think?

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/dragonage/news_6097833.html Crap. They mentioned Neverwinter Nights. (They also mentioned BG though)
-
They made those Fallout games as well, right?
-
GameSpot says modern times, but that's not really definitive.

Heh, I thought the same thing. -
Also aren't the majority of aliens trying to get out of Mexico anyway?
-
You've got a point, but then there are other extremes like Morrowind. In this game the world was so huge and there were so many quests that it's easy to loose interest in the game. Open ended gameplay is cool, but if I was forced to choose between a focused linear sort of game like KOTOR or an open ended game like Morrowind, I would definately choose KOTOR.
-
I thought that this made the game more focused. They had a definitive quest and were focused on the quest. I liked the fact that the majority of the quests revolved around the main quest in some way. Jade Empire seems like it has potential, but it's an X-Box exclusive.
-
I haven't played the BG games though. KOTOR and NWN are my first BioWare games and they are almost completely different.
-
Remember that? Pretty awesome game. That blob really liked jelly beans.

Not to mention the fact that it's shaping up to be awesome.

I don't mind the graphic style. It looks like an authentic Eastern European city. (I'm basing that on pictures i've seen.) It looks like it'll have an atmosphere like that city near Chernobyl.

Horror movie gold. -
Heh, his backstory is pretty funny. You probably all know that Obsidian Entertainment is making KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords. I've heard that HK-47 will be back.

http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/05/11/news_6097116.html Now that's a cool looking handheld console.

I didn't like Another World. I remember going psycho and throwing the Nintendo control around the room. I liked Flashback though.
