Seems like this has been getting a lot of press now that they're showing it at E3. Still no release date, though.

Windows 10: "It wouldn't be right to call it Windows 9."
tabacco replied to Urthman's topic in Idle Banter
Best discovery of the day is that Windows 10's version number will actually be 10.0, not 6.3 or some nonsense. -
FYI, My high-charisma spy character in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion is named Ma'ax Chaarmo.

Yep... useful note, if you just report one per poster, it's all the same, as we have a one-click button for spam accounts.

Depends what subreddits you follow. For example, I'm almost entirely in cooking or programming ones, and those're pretty alright. Especially the cooking ones.

Heyyy, welcome to my number one cooking pet peeve.

you assume.

Depending on your use for the blender, you may also want to look into stick blenders. They're great for soups and things because you just stick them into the pot and blend. No messing around with blending in batches. They're not as good at margaritas.

Or Biff from Back to the Future.

Banned 'im. Zero tolerance for that nonsense.

I'd strongly suggest ditching Muir Woods in favor of the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Preserve. It's infinitely less crowded, if a little further away. Rather than Fisherman's Wharf, which is awful, I'd suggest a day trip up through the Marin/Sonoma area. Up 101, then along the russian river gets you to Armstrong. Then you can come back down the coast via Highway 1 through Point Reyes Station and Stinson Beach, then loop back to 101 to get back into SF. Along highway 1 are several oyster farms (Hog Island, Tomales Bay Food Company), or there're a bunch of restaurants in the towns along the way. I'd also recommend Wild Flour Bakery in Occidental on the way back down. They have some good fresh breads for sale, and also sticky buns. It's a pretty solid day trip.

Fixed... it likes to not come back up after boot. I should probably look into that.

Have you guys been to this cool site, giantbomb.org?

Whole bulbs? If so, roast it! Chop off the top to expose the tops of the cloves, put them in a pan, drizzle on a little olive oil, and roast in the oven until the cloves get brown and soft. Then you can squeeze it out like toothpaste and use it wherever you like. I suggest mashed potatoes.

I unpinned some of the megathreads because they float by the top anyway, and the number of pinned threads was a little out of control. It's mostly because it doesn't matter, and sometimes people get weirdly competitive about post counts, or put too much weight on them as a measure of post quality. Noooope.

If you're in the US you can almost definitely vote by mail in your state, and there's like zero reason not to. Yeesh.

Yeah welcome to Bay Area rents I'm afraid. When I last went apartment hunting, http://livelovely.com was really helpful because it had alerts for new listing within a set of search criteria. I owe it for my current apartment because those alerts made me the first to respond. Where-ish do you want to live, and where are you going to be commuting to?

I don't really care if you understand it, my point was that it'll make you few friends here. -

As someone who is neither a weedlord nor a booze baron, I'll offer that the reaction to your comments is because basically nobody likes the judge-y guy who 'tut tuts' when people partake of things he doesn't approve of. It's like, if you didn't drink but went to a party and just sort of disappointedly shook your head at someone as they talked about wine tasting. -
If they're in your area, Korean and Japanese grocery stores are also super good for pre-prepped vegetables. For when you absolutely need japchae fast.

He did, it didn't

Oh hey maybe I should move that.

I have no opinion on that particular mattress, but in general I'll say that you shouldn't cheap out on mattresses. You spend an amazing amount of hours per day on it, and it should probably be one of the nicest things you own. Possibly followed by desk chairs. -
Because 'e-partheid' would have been the way superior version.
