Your other account should be able to post again. It looks like it garbage collected with a bunch of other accounts we cleaned up that were old and had no posts (burn).

A recent addition that's quickly become my favorite thing is checking for new episodes when you arrive at or leave specific locations. I listen primarily in the car, so having it automatically ping for new casts when I leave work and am walking to my car is pretty great.

If you listen on an iOS device, I cannot recommend http://downcastapp.com/ strongly enough. It really puts any of Apple's solutions for podcasts to shame. No desktop app yet, though

I strongly recommend the freezers that have a canister you keep in the freezer. No messing around with salt or any of that, you just freeze it for at least 24 hours and you're ready to go. They're pretty cheap, too. I think mine was under $40, though your results may vary because I don't have a handle on the international ice cream machine market.

I've really been enjoying The Memory Palace since Maximum Fun picked it up last month. Delicious ice cream! My go-to base is: 2 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 2 cups heavy cream 1 cup whole milk Whisk the eggs for a couple of minutes until they get a bit foamy. Then verrrry gradually whisk in the sugar until it's all in. Then add the cream and milk and whisk 'til it's mixed in (not long). Then add whatever flavoring and into the ice cream freezer it goes. ...and my favorite flavor: Sliced strawberries (I have no real measure for the amount... a pint's worth of berries maybe?) 1/3 cup sugar or so (this kind of depends on how the berries taste) 1 Tbsp of good quality balsamic vinegar Combine in a container and leave in the fridge for at least a few hours or overnight to give the sugar time to pull liquid out of the berries and form a syrup. Take a potato masher or a stick blender to it to make it a little bit smoother (you still want some hefty chunks, but not whole berry slices). Also pretty good: Instant coffee (I use the Starbucks stuff... it seems to have better flavor in the ice cream than Folgers or other freeze-fried coffees). Additional bonus for coffee ice cream: Add toffee bits a couple of minutes before the ice cream is done freezing.

Did somebody say inappropriate achievement? At some point the story lets you pick up a banana, at which point you se the "Achievement Unlocked: That's the Stuff" popup.

If you have friends or family who own cameras, I suggest going with the brand that'll let you share lenses with them (assuming they're fine with that). It's surprisingly handy.

Who knows Mojang hired the Bukkit team a little while back, but for some reason CB releases still don't come out on time even though they presumably have access to the raw source now.

FYI: We removed the doors from the Love Shack last night in hopes that it would calm down the number of villagers, since they really are destroying server performance.

Trying out some new css/js for (after the old code was lost in an upgrade). Let me know how this works for people. It should cover larger contained items like images by wrapping everything in a span with visibility:hidden. The background color can ger weird in those circumstances, but it seems better than it was in any case. Thoughts? (Would it be better if revealed spoilers still had some indication that they were redacted, like a very light gray background, or an outline?)

Like most others in this third page, I picked it up during the Steam sale not having known anything about the original mod or the game itself. It was described as an exploration of a desolate environment or something like that in the store, which was a thing that appealed to me, so I picked it up. The existence of any narrative at all was sort of a surprise, since I didn't remember reading anything about it. (It actually reminded me a bit of Gravity Bone and TFOL, which I finally just got around to playing the other night. TFOL in particular, since it's very much a linear stroll through a fragmented retelling of a story from your character's past.) There were also some great little touches in the game. I enjoyed . Plus, some of the environments legitimately got a verbal "wow" from me while playing. Especially in chapter 3. Anyway, I really enjoyed it. So there

Maybe just back up your laptop regularly so you're not always having to worry about retrieving your content? I use Backblaze, and it's both comically cheap and effective.
