  1. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I quit Divinity: Original Sin, at least for now. Complaint time: The most help you ever get in figuring out where to go is a compass direction. "OK, let's wander the entire northern section of the map until we find a cave..." You're essentially screwed if you try to fight enemies who are above your level, which is hell while exploring because enemies pop out of nowhere. Oh my god, the camera. The game doesn't allow you to zoom out very far, so even though it's a top-down perspective, structures on the map are very close to the camera, which makes looking around just very nauseating for me. Plus, you just don't get to see very much at a time which sucks when you're trying to figure out where to go. It's a shame, because I like the combat system a lot, and the ability to do co-op is really cool.
  2. I had a similar experience! I had a few videos missing when I took the prompt but I ended up coming back the next day to get the rest of them because I was so compelled to know everything. It's pretty uncommon for me to want to be a "completionist" so it was cool to have a game that made me want to come back for that. Even when I felt like I had everything figured out, I couldn't shake the feeling that there *might* be some video clip left that would uncover an important detail.
  3. Rocket League

There have been a few times where I've been about to send "nice shot" to them, and then they do it to themselves and I'm just like... Fine. You don't get compliments, person.
  4. Rocket League

I've had so many opponents use/spam "nice shot" to themselves after scoring a goal.
  5. I used the code to increase the search results. By that time, I had 2 or 3 pages of notebook paper filled with notes/search terms so I just ran through all of them again and ended up getting almost all of the videos that way.
  6. Other podcasts

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but I really enjoy Match3. It's about video games, but with a focus on cultural impact. Hosted by Gita Jackson (one of my favorite games journalists), Patrick Klepek, and a guy named Sam Phillips who is a middle school teacher (unexpected, but I really like the discussions about his students and their experiences with games).
  7. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I looked up that ending after getting the other two and it seems to just be a bonus little thing for people who were really dedicated to getting all of the stars. The "proper" ending seems to be the one you get for
  8. eReaders - What is everyone's thoughts?

I have a Kindle Voyage and I absolutely love it. I love not having to cart around heavy books anymore. Also, and maybe this is just me being excited about a new device because I have only had it for a few months, but I've been reading a lot more than I did before I had it.
  9. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

Hands down, I always recommend Ms. Marvel to people who want to get into comics. I'm also a huge fan of Saga.
  10. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi! I'm Ashley. I've been listening to Idle Thumbs for about a year, also listened to Twin Peaks Rewatch. I've heard good things about this place so I figured it was finally time to join!
