  1. Fallout 4 — Boston Makes Me Feel Good

    Which reviewer wookie?
  2. Fallout 4 — Boston Makes Me Feel Good

When skyrim came out my friend convinced me we could get a local store to break release. He got a toys r us to do it but they wouldn't for me. Then he proceeded to sit on the game and not play it... I was pissed. Spent about 4 hrs driving around like an idiot
  3. Fallout 4 — Boston Makes Me Feel Good

I think I played Skyrim for 160 hours and never finished the main storyline but I don't remember it being that great. I finished FO3 but after a certain point I basically powered through it, it was only so-so. I'm more interested in all the weird side quests and exploration.
  4. Idle Thumbs PS4 Community

I did look in the Broken Age communities but PSN was glitching like crazy as it usually is and only the first dozen or so would load. Will try again
  5. No Man's Sky

This seems to be the speculation on most boards. In fact many have been saying they thought Sony pushed HGs to delay to June so this could be a VR launch title.
  6. Idle Thumbs PS4 Community

Couldn't find the group the other day. Feel free to friend me and I'll join from there. Xchen05
  7. Buying a New PC

How are the new AMD processors? I haven't even considered anything other than Intel in years. Used to be an AMD guy but had a few bad experiences and won't go back.
  8. Rocket League

I hate sports but I now want other sports games in this vein.
  9. Buying a New PC

For slightly more than ikea price I recommend the go cart desk from cb2. $150, sturdy, clean lines. Good size but if you want a huge one they make a bigger one too. I found myself in the need for a Windows laptop this week. I'm an unapologetic Mac fanboy but I quite like Windows 10 and the laptop. I got one of the new Acer Aspire E15 with an i5 for $379. Popping in a 2nd 4gb stick today and an SSD I had laying around.
  10. There's been a few other things too though... Wired UK posted an interview with Olly Moss that mistakenly leaked the release as August. Someone from Campo Santo replied to a tweet asking about this saying "we're going to see how August goes and hopefully announce a release date if we feel we made enough progress". Some of this can be seen on the Firewatch subreddit.
  11. Checking Twitter/IGN hourly for past few weeks. Announcement feels imminent, but never comes.
  12. No Man's Sky

there was combat in the same vein as minecraft. Certainly would not consider it an FPS just like I wouldn't consider minecraft an FPS. If anything it's a space exploration sim.
  13. As an Xboner you can take solace in the fact that you'll continue to be disappointed for years to come.
  14. I was getting Firewatch regardless but much happier to get it on PS4 than Mac. This is my most anticipated game of all time.
  15. Intoxicated:

Got a new shaker - first drink I made with it was a vodka gimlet... nice and refreshing! Anyone here drink growler beer? Totally ruined bottled beer for me. The shops around me usually have a split between local craft brews (I'm in Atlanta) and various world class beers from all around. Last few weeks I've had: Avery Ellie's Brown Ale Stone Enjoy by 4.20.15 - hot damn!! Macon Love (cherry blonde) - worth a shot
  16. the Talos Principle

When this came out I wasn't really looking at PC games, so this missed my radar... However I think I need this...
  17. Books, books, books...

I've read most of the Wind Up Bird Chronicle and I'm relistening to it on audiobook. Got a few other books lined up for after but will put Norwegian Wood on the list.
  18. Books, books, books...

I have no time to read books these days but am trying to get into audiobooks now. Anyone here like Haruki Murakami?
  19. Movie/TV recommendations

Recently watched 2001: A Space Odyssee and Going Clear, HBO documentary about Scientology.
  20. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

Halfway through MI: Special Edition I encountered a game breaking bug and lost my save. Have to start over.
  21. Recently completed video games

Gone Home - amazing! Monument Valley - enjoyable puzzles - only got stumped once though, on the last level.
