  1. Oh, ok. That helps a lot. I probably know the general area that is the problem. Thanks! EDIT: Hopefully the update I just sent up will prevent this. Not 100% sure, but seems like it will help. (1.0.3 for mac, auto update for windows)
  2. [RELEASED] EVADER

I will probably give up on high score chasing, but nobody can ever take away that for about 2 minutes, I was #1. My glory days (moments).
  3. Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I debated about which revolutionaries would be impacted by the blast. Once you realize it is limited to those at the tower, you can plan a bit. Maybe it should do all of them, though. Oh no! I hate that it basically crashed on you. Do you know which version you were playing on Mac, 1.0.2 had a lot of checks to prevent things like that, but I'm sure I missed some. If you have any other info about what was going on at the time this happened, let me know here or in DM. Thanks for giving it a go and sticking with it after a crash!
  4. [Release] Prepare for the Jelly

Just played through a pre-made level and one that I made myself. This is a really impressive project for the jam. All of your models, shaders, and other particle effects give the game a definite style and feel. An impressive feat! The UI was also clean and easy to understand. My only problem was the UI covering up some of the tiles I could put towers on in a small 8x8 map I had made. Perhaps a small amount of zooming in and out could be possible? I might have also liked some variation in the tower gem colors or something to help me distinguish them after they were placed. The board can get pretty crowded, so some more visual identification help might be nice. Great work on your game, and especially the presentation! I made a commentary-free video of my level creation and playthrough here if you're interested in watching someone else play the game.
  5. [RELEASED] EVADER

    Damn!
  6. [RELEASED] EVADER

OK, @WickedCestus, I'm back in 2nd! @One8Two8 is kicking butt!
  7. [RELEASED] EVADER

I've been unseated as #2! To EVADER!!!
  8. Trying to do some debugging for the problem pdotjpg had. Here was my score to give you something to shoot for! (Note that I didn't get anywhere close to setting up an online leaderboard.) Taking this screenshot also helped me notice the lack of a comma in the number. So, I fixed that too. Might upload an updated version tonight, but I'm not sure I fixed the problem since I haven't recreated it yet. I just sealed off a bunch of possible fail points. (EDIT: Updated version has been uploaded!)
  9. After your update, I was able to complete the osu portion and the rest of the game! (I am really bad at osu games, so I am a poor metric). I enjoyed all of the minigames, and the story was fantastic. I enjoy how you kept the story details sparse and intriguing. You have the perfect voice for this story, too. The calming nature sounds kept me chill while I tried to figure out each task. Following the circle on the body was pretty tough for me, but I have this dumb sensitive GAMER mouse which I think is bad for this kind of situation. The crane game was a cinch since I've played a lot of Track & Field at the arcade. This was a neat project based on a simply horrific title!
  10. Thanks for giving it a go! I will try to find what caused the game to glitch out like that. I have a few ideas of where to start, but it really could be anything, I guess. I agree about the combo breaking from the upcoming shots. I was hoping to do more of a shuffling distribution instead of pure random choice on each shot. I might try to add that in as it won't be too hard... and will hopefully help.
  11. Ha! Did you get all 3 types of clothing on a single revolutionary? They should get zipped over to the guillotine when you do and you'll get points. If you hit them w/ the same piece of stuff, it destroys both copies and is a setback!
  12. This is (hopefully) fixed and a new version is available for download. Let me know if I am wrong. For me to test this personally would take some doing. Sorry for the problems. I will work on a linux build sometime. Still just exhausted.
  13. Thanks for playing and thanks for the input. I had a targeting reticule in there at first, and I took it out because it felt a little off with the way I was moving the projectiles. I had hoped to refine this and try the reticule again, but I planned to come back to a lot of things. That's a good score! (I think)
  14. WARNING: if you are one of the three people who downloaded the Mac version, it is broken. Will upload a new version tonight. Sorry about that!
  15. Thanks! I am a bit disappointed that your king voice gets lost in the mix a bit. Fixing that was on my "if time" list and well... there was no time!
  16. Oh yeah, I missed that one! Thanks!
  17. Crunch time and some last minute mistakes are worth sharing.
  18. Just wanted to post that I am still pretty excited about this project. Can't wait to try it out!
  19. I haven't had a whole lot of nifty gifs to share lately, but progress is ongoing! I am hoping to get the revolutionary spawning routine complete tonight or tomorrow... which means I NEED YOUR BARKS! I've only gotten a couple entries so far, so I will take any growls, grunts or good/bad French angry sayings you can muster. Thanks!
  20. New Wizard Jam mascot: GIANT FOOT Looks like it's coming along, and looks like it will be fun!
  21. Got the death sequence roughed out. It isn't robust at all yet, so tomorrow I will add adjustments that can be made in game. I hope you can tell what's going on in this gif, and I hope you can stomach the grisly sight!
