Kentucky Route Zero is 50% off right now! People should play KRZ.

I actually stopped the Bad Thing first time around. It's easy to miss one of those if you don't know you should be doing them, and it's especially easy to gloss over that final part. Like I said, I only remembered it because of my name.

That's my question answered, both characters will speak in Dishonored 2.

They could pay someone to sit in the audience and talk to Aisha Tyler, but they couldn't plan ahead for what their meme was going to be. "Something to do with rickets?"

In all the excitement yesterday, I completely forgot that IGN showed the first XCOM 2 gameplay. Thoughts: This looks great! I love the new changes they're making, it sounds like this will be alot more replayable than the first one.

The Taken King was announced at the Sony conference. Here are some things. https://www.bungie.net/en/pub/thetakenking

Garden Warfare 2 lets you call in a mech and at the end of a match you have to get to a dropship before time runs out, so in a way we did see Titanfall 2.

Speaking of this, I wonder how they're going to handle the.. uh, "speaking". Emily had dialogue in the first game so it'd be weird if she suddenly became a silent protagonist. But Corvo didn't have dialogue and it'd be weird if he suddenly became a non-silent protagonist. And it'd be weird to have one playable character who speaks and one who doesn't!

Yup, I got completely suckered by that. Sorry everyone!

The quest where you got Dogmeat specifically mentioned a character like Mad Max, didn't it? To actually get the dog to follow you you needed to be wearing a leather jacket.

I've played every Fallout game and I don't get the hype for Dogmeat. Hell, in the first game he was only there as a Mad Max reference. I hope they'll have New Vegas style companions with good stories behind them. Oh, and since Microsoft is about to start, come join the IRC channel!

I just realised that New England clam chowder is basically Cullen Skink but with a different seafood.

I spent about half an hour playing that clicky game on my laptop earlier today and I've really messed up my wrist. I'm in alot of pain right now and it wasn't really worth it.

I haven't tasted either, but looking at pictures the Manhattan one looks delicious. Like a big tomatoey stew.

It's not entirely accurate, but I couldn't help myself with the pun. If it helps, think of it as a portmanteau of "teen" and "twee".

Obligatory Comical YouTube Thread II: The Fall of YouTube

This might only be funny if you're Scottish. -
I love the Life is Strange talk on the podcast, I'm really into that game right now and I'm enjoying it far more than I ever could have expected to. I'm looking forward to Life is Strange slowly taking over the entire podcast until it's the only point of discussion. Failing that, I made a thread for it.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is also at a higher sale price than its original pre-sale price. Fuck, this is ridiculous.

Just so you know, I read that the War Thunder developers raised a bunch of prices right before the sale, so the sale prices are actually higher than the regular prices.

The person who decided this was a game about mental illness was not the same person who decided it was named "HELLBLADE".

I absolutely agree. Fallout 3 had interesting locations but they weren't placed in a cohesive world. For example, the town entirely composed of children sends their adults to live in another town right next to the largest slaver organisation in the Capital Wasteland. New Vegas from start to finish made all its locations matter in relation to the larger story.

I'm in the same position. I haven't played 2 yet, but I played the first one and it's brilliant, along with the rest of ACE Team's catalogue.

I saw mention on twitter that Bungie's E3 announcement will be that The Taken King is launching September 15th. Each class is going to get a new subclass that uses the element they don't already have (Void for Hunters etc.) The tweet was pulled down rather suddenly, which is usually a good sign that someone didn't want it to be seen. The stuff about the new subclasses matches what was hinted at in previous leaks as well.

Personally I think New Vegas is the better of the two, it improves on 3 in every way. Plus the DLC is all brilliant in New Vegas, where in 3 it ranges from pretty good to abysmal.

One of the articles mentioned a "waypoint system" or something to that effect, so it sounds like you'll be able to set a specific path for soldiers to follow instead of having to rush directly through a poison cloud.
