Argobot, that reminds me of that whole "all hetero sex is rape in a patriarchal society" thing. That theory removes all agency from women and doesn't really go well with modern sex positive feminism. Im generally 100% a-ok with hetero sex in consenting relationships in terms of power balance, but I've had similar thoughts about hetero bdsm relationships where the man is the dominant partner. I just have a gut initial reaction of skepticism/"that dude reads as an asshole to me". It seems like a very squicky subject for a lot of people, but I think its pretty interesting. There isn't really one answer beyond consent I guess. Everyone is different, which is why communication is super key in relationships, especially with regards to sexuality.

Yeah, I don't think many people know about this game at all. I only heard of it from the Crate and Crowbar guys talking about it at length. I saw some ads for it on twitch after I bought the game but they don't really convey what the game feels like or what makes it cool.

Picked up Carcassonne for $2 on sale in the Play Store. It's fine, but there isn't a whole lot to do single player beyond playing normal games with bots, which is a bummer. Galaxy Trucker had a great campaign mode that was a really thoughtful addition in the port to mobile. Hoplite and Pixel Dungeon are still my favorite things to play on my phone though. Hoplite in particular is damn near perfect.

I also was underwhelmed by Kimmy Schmidt. I've only watched the first episode so far, but it didn't really make me laugh at all. The jokes felt way too obvious/dated. Do they keep that autotune the news thing as the theme song? Yeesh. I'm still loving the hell out of Brooklyn Nine Nine though. Everyone should watch that.

I have always had trouble with those, and I only have two controllers currently. I'll probably pick up a steam controller as well. Do we know if that will be able connect wirelessly out of the box with the link or if you need a USB port for it?

Yeah, the link sounds like exactly what I want. I wish it had more USB ports though, I already have a few wired 360 controllers, I guess I'll have to switch to wireless from now on.

I don't think its beneficial to decide that someone is bad because they talked to someone else and also used a word that could be seen as offensive. I don't care for Wu really, but people can be nuanced. It's not always "us v them."

I've only been able to play one Year Beast match on the second day they had it, but no one in my game seemed to have a ton of points. The UI was ugly and confusing and that queue hasn't popped up again when I've been on. I am pretty bummed about how they handled it this year, but I never really like the special modes beyond the sweet drops anyway. I've been mostly playing 1v1 practice since I don't have huge chunks of time after work and I don't think I've lost a game all week. I'll random and then just play like a jerk trying to bait out one of the win conditions. Anything you can do to get a lead! Also, god I'm still so bad at last hitting properly unless that's the only thing I focus on.

Yeah, both those movies are generally the exact kind of thing people mean when they refer to oscar bait. I watched Only Lovers Left Alive over the weekend and it is great. It's more a hangout movie than a vampire movie, but I LOVE the idea that all the great artists either were or stole their ideas from vampires. I mean, you have all the free time in the world! Of course you'd be able to learn all kinds of intruments and languages! And the movie was just fucking gorgeous. And Tilda Swinton!
