A Dedicated Thread For Talking About Star Trek Episodes
Cordeos replied to BigJKO's topic in Movies & Television
Yeah I feel like there is way more character growth in DS9 than in any of the other shows. Season 1 Sisko and Season 7 Sisko are not the same man. I am so excited for you to see "In the Pale Moonlight" for the first time. It's my favorite Trek episode by far. -

I made the vodka sauce, its super good! http://www.seriousea...uce-recipe.html -
I loved using the explosive golf ball in Sapienza. If you threw it at someone it would explode. I had wayyyyy to much fun with that. I am also a fan of dropping a proximity explosive while walking past someone.

I kind of love the messy hits getting away with a terrible messy hit can feel more satisfying than pulling off a perfect accidental, sniper our poison kill.

I killed the Pharmacist! She was a much trickier elusive target then they have had before. Not sure if you fail if/when she leaves, but the fact she will leave is exciting.

It's my turn to pick a topic and I choose booze! I am talking about recipes that have more than a 'splash' of red wine. I am talking about rum cake, vodka sauce, bourbon balls, beer bread etc. Here is what I plan on making next week: Beer Pizza: https://food52.com/recipes/5138-beer-pizza Pasta with Vodka Sauce: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/12/sauced-vodka-cream-sauce-recipe.html Some more ideas/examples: Rum-Spiked Roasted Caramelized Mango: https://food52.com/recipes/17412-rum-spiked-roasted-caramelized-mango Fudgy Bourbon Balls: https://food52.com/recipes/8644-fudgy-bourbon-balls Creamy Mushroom Soup: https://food52.com/recipes/923-creamy-mushroom-soup P.S. I will also accept liquor infusions, as an avid infuser myself, how could I refuse. Not sure, I haven't played in quite some time apart from an attempt to get the Rift VR to work on the Vive. I will probably wait for 1.0 to come out at this point.

I made this: https://food52.com/recipes/11867-cheap-creamy-chicken-curry Only change I made was tofu instead of chicken P.S. had to use the article photo because I forgot to take one again P.P.S. I also made jalapeno pepper jack scones https://food52.com/recipes/8323-jalapeno-cheese-scones I really like my reusable baking sheet, its a very nice piece of baking equipment. I have considered getting three more of them so I can have two batches in the oven with another two ready to go. I am such a hippy with all my no waste kitchen products -
Idle Thumbs 279: Horrible Adorable

You guys saying Xbox a lot in the episode reminds me of how the Vergecast will often tell Alexa, Siri, Cortana or Google to do things during the podcast on the off chance you are listening on speakers and your phone, amazon echo etc will respond. I love the idea of trolling voice controlled platforms. -
i could see some like Banh Mi pizza where it could work

in survival I'm pretty sure you get back 100% of your resources if you deconstruct something, but its still good to learn in creative. I haven't played in a while, I love the game, but want to wait until my saves don't get deleted anymore to start again.

It does look like a very large level with a lot of separate buildings, should be interesting.

New Episode sounds pretty cool: "The story mission for Episode 5 is titled “Freedom Fighters” and is not one to be taken lightly. Agent 47 must infiltrate a Colorado farm compound that has been converted into a private militia training camp. With four targets to locate and take out, this will be an intense infiltration mission and the toughest assignment yet for Agent 47." https://hitman.com/news/episode-5-release-date

I am possibly excited, its been a while since I've played a Relic RTS, but if it is more like 1 than 2 I will probably pick it up.

There are tons of versions of kimchi, many are regional or seasonal. http://seoulistic.com/korean-food/a-complete-guide-to-kimchi/ Also I made a curry. Someone in the slack channel linked this recipe and it looked good so I did it. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2835667/jerk-sweet-potato-and-black-bean-curry I am planning on making a more traditional curry next week. -

Sounds like good stuff. I have been thinking about a play through where i never respond on the radio just to see what happens. -
Just listened to an episode of Left Out on the major problems with private philanthropy. Mostly how it focuses on effects not causes and often funnel money into privatization efforts. There are also issues with transparency and charities using the tax free benefits to give money to other corporations. The Gates foundation recently funded a MasterCard effort to expand into Africa under the guise of charity. Its all really weird.
