I feel so conflicted on the need to have to rebuy Dark Souls 2 again on PC. I understand that a lot of work went into porting it up to PS4/xbox1 but I can understand the saltiness of people who had already bought the PC version, double dipping on your user base less than a year in kind of sucks.

My astronomy club uses two farms out which are okay, I found a nice little place in Braidwood, IL which is pretty okay. The only problem is the light pollution on the northern horizon is pretty bad because of the power plant there.

Yeah between idle thumbs and Giant Bomb I think I had spoiled it for myself, which stinks. This game looks great.

Bought a Rokinon 14mm for my trip to new zealand, went out tonight to play around with it (drove an hour to my dark site) and of course I forget my tripod at home, oops. I took this from a top of my hood, a bit noisy than I wanted and I am sure the engine wasn't doing any favors, but I did appreciate the nice color gradient and the reflection of the trees in the (dirty) hood.

Welp, it has started to happen. Someone in my current Sunday game on Roll20 posted "is sunday set in stone for everyone?" which most likely spells the beginning of the end of this game 2 sessions in

I did notice aiming with a mouse is 100% better than aiming with a controller, which is nice.

Ah, you guys are totally right about the bumpers/Q+E. I was totally missing the prompts while playing on my TV. Thanks! Also i figured out that the slowdown only happens in battles after a cut scene, but if I Alt+Tab out of the came and alt+tab back in it fixes it!

I am really digging this game on PC, but there are a few things that stop me from absolutely loving it: - The way the story is told, why give me three 1 minute vignettes in a row? I would prefer a longer cut scene than having to load up the next 30 second scene. I just think it is a flawed delivery method, I think the story is fine though. - I wish the personality traits were available to you during the deploy screen where it would be most handy. I am not going to remember the traits for 20 different soldiers. - I am experiencing some slow down during the actual battles which is a little annoying

I would not mind participating in a late Saturday morning CST game with all of the EuroThumbs. Also I just realized I will be out of the country for a bit in late december/early January so I may have to miss out on a few sessions which is a bummer but at least by then we should all be somewhat familiar with the game and universe so it shouldn't be too hard to get back into it.

Great first episode guys! This was what finally pushed me into watching twin peaks. I am surprised how into the murder mystery plot I got with how much wacky stuff is going on in the periphery. Having said that, kid dancing in the school in the background made me laugh out loud.

Hah yeah, snow gets old very, very quickly. My wife went from "OMG SNOW!" to "Snow is the worst" in one season. Still very pretty though!

I am having Christmas in New Zealand this year and having a beach Christmas is going to be totally weird. Completely opposite of my cold, snowy Chicago Christmas.
