It's a 60 hour game or so, so I doubt it. What step were you in on the Zandalor quest line? Have you been inside the castle and met Duke Janus yet?

I finally actually beat Divine Divinity. I made the best choice ever just running through the entire last zone ignoring combat. The final castle would have taken me around 5 hours of constant fighting to get through otherwise, and the end boss only took me 10 seconds to kill. Regardless of the poor balance, I had a lot of fun.

Oh, that's nice. I thought the Xbox used some sort of weird USB standard, but then I use an Xbox controller on my PC so I guess that doesn't make sense. Hmm, I forgot this was an Ubisoft game. Does it require uPlay?

My wife actually got several interviews over the last couple of months and her job that she started this week through a recruiter. I'm torn between my love of GalCiv 2, my growing dislike of the head dude at Stardock, and my general distrust of any game that's already 60% off when it's not even out yet. I would expect a Special Edition to contain largely the same work, with some added scenes, visual clean-up, and (in a Video game's case) modernized controls. With a Remaster, I would expect very little of the original art to be there (or CG in a movie's case) but the underlying game to still be close to identical (modernizing things like controls and save files aside.) With a Remake, I would expect the engine to be mostly rebuilt from scratch, basically making a brand new game using the original as a template.

I'm planning on booting up my Starbound server and leaving it on full-time once the big update in January comes out. Until then, I'm holding off.

VAT is part of the price of the item right, not a tax tacked on at the register like sales tax is in the US? If so, that's a 20% mark-up right there. I like a lot of the stuff that Season 2 adds. A few of the story lines are lame ducks, but a few of them are pretty cool.
