I wonder what that actually means. They say it's a lawsuit filed against him, so is this just a money thing, or will he actually be thrown in jail?

Interesting, I followed the link from somewhere else I guess, because I was going to http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-budget-friendly-sous-vide-gear/ which redirects to the exact same article as those linked above *shrug* I'm sure it's for SEO or something, but I generally just refer to the whole collective as Wirecutter and I'm not sure why they decided they needed to split it all in half.

Do you have the V1 or the new Precision Cooker? The new one is quieter but also takes 1.5x - 2x as long to warm up. Edit: Apparently that's due to the new Anova using an 800w element instead of 1100w, which they changed due to problems tripping breakers in under-wired kitchens, which my apartment might qualify for. Definitely leaning that way.
-
Wirecutter still recommends the Anova but I've heard a tone of good things about the Sansaire as well. The fact that the Sansaire is incredibly quiet might tip the balance, but I don't know.

My in-laws bought me a vacuum sealer, which is the first step to getting a sous vide system setup. I'm thinking about getting one of the $200 immersion heaters next month.

Seeing Danny O'Dwyer and Mary Kish on GB live streams has really made me want to watch/read more of their content. If only there were more time in the day.

Oooh, that "Discovered by" tag is going to get me back in. I need to spend some time grinding for the best scanner I guess.

I must have a really bad memory. The thing that bothered me about BoI wasn't the random item effects, but the fact that I couldn't look in-game to find out what an item that I already had once does. All the tarot cards, in particular, mushed together in my mind.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Combat is a huge pain in Origins all the way through to the end, but there's definitely some good stuff worth seeing in there too. -
Basically, you need to progress to getting steel at that point, which involves upgrading your matter manipulator to the stage it can pick up liquids. Edit: In case anyone needs, there's a huge Avian colony on Delta T CrB Minoris IIa in the starting system. Edit 2: And oil at Delta T CrB Minorius IV Edit 3: Just missed someone on the server. I logged back in to say hi and you'd already left.

There's been a furious bunch of updates, but my server is back up. I'll be continuing to run it for my friends so people are welcome to stick around or migrate over to tabacco's server, no harm either way.

Robocraft's FTP purchasing system is extremely reasonable as well. It ends up being around $5 for a month of premium and with premium I've pretty much never needed to buy another part with real money.

I wonder if I could get my wife to eat Crickets.
-
Yeah, but it's not in the cards to buy another system right now. I already don't put time into my recent XB1 purchase or my year-old PS3 purchase.

Well, I decided to preorder Monster Hunter 4, regardless of not having a circle pad pro or a New 3DS. I made MH3U work well enough, I think I can do it with MH4.

That stream went from wonderful, to horrific, and then back out the other side to wonderful again. Also, Unprofessional Friday this week definitely benefited from having two Ryckerts.

An update just rolled live (maybe by accident?) that seems to cause it to crash for most people. Steam is offline on my server, but I just barely stopped my main PC from updating before it was too late. Edit: Update seems to work fine now.
-
All right, server seems stable for now, I'll be out and about this evening, so if it crashes again I probably won't be able to turn it back on until around midnight pst.
-
Server crashed when it unloaded a special area, it's back up now.

Pulling this thread from the depths to post my Starbound server IP: 174.61.158.81 Password: owned I'm not on a static IP, so feel free to PM here if you can't get in at any point, I might have to post a new IP. If I get a lot of traffic, I'll talk to Comcast and pay a little extra for a permanent IP and get a domain name attached to it. Also, while I have some limited admin control, there really isn't an "undo" or anything, so please be careful messing with other people's stuff and think about any friends you might invite.

Working on getting my second machine updated and setup to contact the internet. What with the Super Bowl tomorrow, I'm going to try and get it up in the next few hours, but if I can't make that it'll have to wait until Monday. Information posted in the multiplayer forum.

Some heartless jackass makes a fake Majora's Mask HD trailer because he hates me, specifically

My impression from the GB stuff is that it wouldn't be a great starting point simply because the mechanics are complicated and poorly explained, making it doubly difficult to learn if you're not already familiar with the mechanics that do carry over from older games. -
Get yourself an electric whipper and the only thing that makes mashed potatoes difficult is cleaning the whipper after. It works great for me since I really hate lumps or peelings in my mash.

I would love to drop in occasionally and slowly make my way through the story.

To answer the original question, if you have a garage with a concrete floor and a workbench, that would probably be the best.
