So, after watching some of GB's coverage of Witcher 3, I decided to go back to Witcher 2 and download a weightless mod so I can finally make it through that game. I left off just after the first chapter, and I've had a lot of fun with Chapter 2 so far. I'm also playing on easy, so I can experience the story and get on to the next game.

Pulling this out of the past to say: "Man, reading about the UK maybe leaving the EU makes me really wish that the US had more direct votes over important things. I find it amazing that such important decisions as Scotland leaving the UK and the UK leaving the EU are left to the voting public to decide."

I didn't play a ton last night, but my team of six had 4 blowouts (2 wins, 2 losses) and 4 close games (1 win, 3 losses.) We played a mix of regular and brawl. -

I almost always queue in a group, varying sizes 3-6. It's definitely stompings both ways, so not complaining about my skill, more just odd matchmaking. I'll keep a tally when I'm playing today, maybe it's just my flawed perception. -
Just checking my compendium predictions, not having heard much about any of the games, and one hero got 45 assists in one game? What?

There's something to be said about a long primary keeping Hilary's name in the news for longer. At the same time, as grumpy as I am about the super delegates in my state not caring about the popular vote, I'm looking forward to this whole in-fight ending so we can get on with business.

I still feel like a disproportionate number of the games I play in this are complete stompings, one way or the other. I'd love some close games. Also, I know that Blizzard says the win rate on attack for Temple of Anubis is about even, but I can't wrap my head around attacking the second point. It feels like the times we do finally break it, we just kinda accidentally roll in and get lucky. Most of the time we can barely touch the point. Worse still is that when I'm defending the second point, I have no clue what to do either. Thankfully the rest of my team usually picks up the slack on that. -

I'm getting better at switching, but there are still certain combinations I have no clue how to beat, such as a Bastion, Turret, and a Rinehart crammed into the corner of a control point. You can't snipe them, you can get above or behind them with Farah or Tracer. *shrug* A lot of our losses come to people with two Bastions, two Torbjorn, a Rinehart, and a healer. -
Just finished my first run through Marrakesh. I normally play with opportunities on minimal, but it's pretty hard to find some of the opportunity people in those crowds without an icon. The particular one I ended up trying to do, it seems like it would be nearly impossible. Kind of a disappointment that i had to turn full tips on, but oh well.

Squid ink makes a killer mixer in Absinthe. Edit: I'm in a weird mood, I just ordered some. I guess that means that cocktails with it are no longer vegan.

As for mixers, I generally like to have tonic, soda, sweet & sour, bitters, vermouth, Coke, 7up, grenadine, lime, Red Bull, orange juice, and one other type of juice laying around. Obviously a couple of items on that list are because I love Manhattans and G&T's, but that gives you a pretty good cross section of different drinks you can make. Some of those things keep longer than others, but a good variety of mixers can make a single bottle of alcohol provide a lot more variety.

You need to get Chris's Hitman stream up on the original post as well. I hope Spaff gets to be involved in a few more of these, maybe some more Hitman with all three of you taking turns?

I bought the first episode of Lucha Underground on iTunes, but haven't had the chance to watch it yet. -
I was riding on the Soccer high for a couple of years, but games around here seemed to start getting that hooligan feeling, and therefore they started metal-detecting and wanding people at the door, and I just don't want to deal with either of those things.

I saw that show up on the front page of Steam, but didn't have a clue what it actually was. Now that I take a look at it, it seems pretty cool.

As someone who pretty much always assumes that my team losing is my fault, I miss having at least some sort of comparison with the rest of my team just so I don't feel lousy all the time. -
Do you have a friend who can drive with you and fly back? Buying a one way ticket for him/her would still be cheaper than paying someone else to take your stuff.
