People with a lack of common sense will always find reasons to not pay attention and step into traffic, though I can't remember seeing anything quite like the Vaporeon stampede before. I can say it's enough to have me shopping for an android phone again. I'm a bit tired of having a Windows Phone at this point.

When are the wild card matches, is that a part of the festivities in Seattle, or are they in between somewhere?

That RimWorld stream was really cool.

I'm really impressed with the additional work that's been put in since the last time I looked. Might be worth a purchase.

Overwatch - That time Blizzard made a non-Diablocraft game.

Man this evening was savage. Got our asses kicked 10 matches in a row, like not even close. -
After my first two runs at the game ending pretty early in the tutorial, I've really started to enjoy this game in my third try. I wish that it was a little better at teaching you, all the references to "read the manual" or "watch youtube videos" don't really replace a good in-game tutorial, and I wish there was some sort of tutorial map setup that made it so you couldn't really fail during the beginning. In particular, the layout of the first expedition group they give you is really bad, and it was a while before I understood why. Anyway, having fun, but wish there was a bit more to do? Things have slowed down a lot now after seeing the first few world tree story bits.

True, but once you've had a potion once, you know what it does at least for the rest of that play through. Edit: In the end, I'm complaining after two attempts at the dungeon. I'll probably be able to articulate my feelings better after I co-op some and get deeper in.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

For the record, I like it as well, just ran out of steam part way through. The only tips I can give are to go in with an elemental charge on your weapon if you can find an item to do that, and to roll through him? I almost never bothered to block through the first half of the game. -
My experience so far is that nothing happens?

I didn't start as a magic class and I did fine? Though in these types of games I tend to over-level which helps a lot. I don't actually find the magic to be particularly useful, even though I'm a hybrid mage/swordsman. Edit: Sounds like you've already quit, and I don't blame you, but I might be able to look back at the boss fight and grab some tips if you're interested. I don't know if it would be very productive as each boss is going to be like that, Souls style. -

I enjoyed it a lot, but I also got bored after a bit. I get the feeling they're going for, but not having a map makes it real difficult to figure out where you've been, where you're going, and where you should return to later, so I ended up wandering around randomly a lot. I still got more than my money's worth out of it though, and hope to go back to it someday. -
Overwatch - That time Blizzard made a non-Diablocraft game.

Getting frustrated after losing 4 matches in a row and dropping a full rank each time made me not want to play competitive. I do notice that match times in casual go up by quite a bit when some of my more skilled friends join in. I assume that's because that section of the player base is in ranked now. -
I forget if this is the one I played before or not.

I didn't know that. I feel a bit better about my 47 (since fallen to 43) ranking now. -

Idle Thumbs 270: BIG GAME HUCKSTER$$$$

That's interesting, that's pretty much admitting that they can tell the difference between bots being used by these gambling sites and other users, and have done nothing about it until their face was rubbed in it. I still held on to a shred of hope that maybe they just didn't know or couldn't tell. -
I think that's where I'm at. The main complaint I've seen in reviews is that the game gives you very little information about what everything does, deciding to make jokes rather than clarify anything. That really bothers me, but is also a problem that can be somewhat solved by a wiki if the game gets enough people playing it to get one created. Edit: Also, $30 is pretty expensive for what I feel like I'm getting here.

This is a game, I'm not sure how I feel about it. First impressions are fairly negative, but I want to play it some more before I commit.

There is indeed a bear on that camera.

Thanks for the reminder. Since I can't use it anyway I just removed it from my Google account.

I was really hoping to have my compendium 100% filled out this year, but I missed the qualifier predictions by a day Oh well, I don't even play all that often anymore, but I like the idea of having a digital program.

You can play an older version of Mini Metro using the unity webplayer at http://dinopoloclub.com/minimetro/ I like it, but never enough to buy the full version.

The latest Giant Bomb VRodeo had a few games in it that looked really cool. Cosmic Trip, Pool Nation VR, and Sound Stage to name a few.

Hmm, I already put it back down and moved onto something else : ( This is one of those times that if it were an offline game, the thrill of trying to discover these things would be fun, but instead I see all these global numbers shifting around, have no clue what's going on or what they mean, and I already feel behind.

Oooh, that sounds really entertaining. I'll have to watch a recording of that.
