Here's something to remember about using the Daycare to level Pokemon up. Since they aren't actually fighting, they don't gain EVs, so they will be inherently weaker than pokemon that are leveled up from fighting or Exp Share. Of course, worrying about that sends you down a deep dark path where you level pokemon to 100 by fighting only level 1 guys to get the maximum EV, but I'll trust that you can find the level of insanity that's right for you.

Having a hard time finding the DS that my wife borrowed from me. I'll fire it up as soon as I can to see what hot pocket monsters I can give away.

Looks great for Portal, still not sold on using it for things like Civ.

I enjoyed playing the demo at PAX. Not sure if it's exactly the same since there was some PAX-specific dialog in that demo.

If you have a police case to send them, they will restore your purchases. A lost (not stolen) 3DS is still doom though I believe.

I never got into breeding that much in Black, so I don't think I have anything that fits the bill.

: ( I've had problems like that from time to time. I'm going to ask the obvious here, but are you getting enough sleep? Are you unplugging and relaxing a little before you go to bed? Are you laying in bed doing other things instead of sleeping? Since I'm sure the advice isn't helping much, is there anything we can do that would help? I could fire up my Terraria game or play something online if company would help. Edit: Stupid frowny face looking all angry.

Oh, I'm married, I'm just lucky enough to have someone who's desires are more or less in line with my own. Kids though, I agree, which is why I'm declining that privledge.

Apparently I have. I saw something like three different teaser type videos, but nothing with real gameplay. I'll have to watch it when I get home.

I'm not sure if I'd put that dark of a tone on it, but that thought has struck me a couple of times.

I think that the people that have their future mapped out and have tons of milestones are the unfortunate ones. The people that I've know that are like that tend to race forward and miss the smelling the flowers part of life. I build my goals like this: What's my goal? To be happy What makes me happy? Playing video games, eating good food, getting to go out with friends, as well as creativity type stuff (building games, painting, tabletop roleplaying.) What makes me not happy? Mindless work without a real purpose. Working overtime or being constantly on call. So what do I need to make me happy? I need to make enough that I can afford to waste a little money going out. I want a job that isn't going to eat a lot of my free time, or leave me exhausted by the time I get home. 6 month goal: Do the best I can to improve the job I'm in to meet those standards 1 year goal: If I can't do the above, look for another position, or make a new position for myself. 2 year goal: profit?

I was really into Indigo Prophecy, despite it's non-sensical ending. Despite giving it 3 stars, Giant Bomb says "Beyond: Two Souls is still easily Quantic Dream's most fully-realized game to date." so I guess I'm in, though probably not for a little while, my backlog is huge.

No one has shown me enough of what Watchdogs is actually going to be for me to be interested. Is it just GTA with the occasional opportunity to use a phone in a quicktime event to make a car crash or something? I feel like that's been the mantra of this new generation. "Don't give anyone enough information and hopefully people will buy the thing without knowing what they're getting."

The thing that makes me not want to try and collect them all is trying to snag all those oddities that are only given out by going to the stations in stores. That being said, I'll see if I can dig out my copy of Black tonight and send over anything I have that you're missing.

I only got to the point where I beat the Elite 4 in Pokemon Black. Still tempted to get the new one since my wife doesn't really play her 3DS anymore, but I dunno.

I'm kinda thinking about it, but I never really got into the other masochistic games like Super Meat Boy or Rogue.

That's cool at least. I was worried that the PC version of the game would just disappear. I'm a little dissapointed they didn't add controller support earlier. It would have been nice to have it when I played through the first time earlier this year. Not sure if it'll be worth playing again.

I'm definitely interested, I just don't get much time with my 360 these days.

I'm thinking of going back and watching Session 9 again, or maybe the original Wicker Man. I don't have the mental energy to sit through a horror movie that I haven't seen before these days.
