  1. April Fool's Roundup

I want that Google/Pokemon T-Shirt. Also, I had no idea that Homestar Runner was still a website. Edit: I appreciate the Calvin and Hobbes joke in the WoW patch notes.
  2. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I liked Vampire a lot, but that might have been due to the class I picked. I don't remember having too many problems with the stealth, though some of the areas (the hotel comes to mind) were overly long.
  3. DOTA 2

Key Arena hosts concerts all the time, so I imagine they already have set layouts for things like this. It would be cool to see Valve arrange things differently though. Maybe both teams in the middle with their backs to each other, looking out at the crowd?
  4. Destroy Remo's Life in One Easy Step

Thank you for posting that, though my manager might disagree since I just wasted an hour of work time
  5. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

I came for the Christmas Duck.
  6. Pokémon X and Y

Apparently you need some indirect damage to kill it?
  7. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I had the same feeling with Rogue Legacy really. I ended up beating it anyway, but it never really satisfied.
  8. Crusader K+ngs II

I hadn't heard that. That explains why nothing ever happens at feasts for me anymore. That sounds like the same process they used to ruin EU4 (at least from your descriptions, I never played until recently) On the actual subject of RoI, I managed to find a decent start as a Jain duke in kingdom that takes up the majority of the west coast of India. I managed to take over two other dutchies, subjugate a piece of the kingdom at the souther tip, and eventually call for independence and make my own kingdom. The major problem I'm running into now is low moral authority. Apparently, low moral authority causes county penalties like death cults and "religious upheaval" that increase revolt risk as much as 50%. As Jain I can't call holy wars, all my holy sites besides the one I already own are way far away. I don't know if there's anything I can really do. I guess grabbing the small religion has it's problems. Oh and everyone intermarries so much that most of India is allied to each other, and now because they all refuse to marry me I've ended up an inbred.
  9. BioShock Infinite

I dunno, I guess as the conversation gets heated, it feels like people are, even if it isn't explicitly stated.
  10. Diablo III

I'm not getting enough of the crafting mats to really make effective use of that right now. At this point I suppose I should save it for level 70 items anyway.
  11. Titanfall

Ah, I didn't know the difference between orange and red blips, but the red circles do have a little white arrow around them to indicate higher or lower.
  12. BioShock Infinite

I thought that Daisy's sudden turn was more intended to illustrate the point that everyone wants power, and that everyone abuses it once they have it (with maybe a little eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind mixed in.) That seems to fall in line with the general feeling I get from the series as a whole. They might not have illustrated this very well, and it certainly came off as rasist, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that it least it wasn't intended.
  13. Titanfall

Little up and down arrows for the players, and I think how dark/pale the color is for NPCs.
  14. Crusader K+ngs II

It's interesting how fleshed out some of the religions feel (Norse, Catholic, and the two Muslim ones) but then how shallow others (Jewish, other Pagans, Orthodox) feel. I'm hoping that I just didn't get in deep enough to see some of the additional options with the three new ones in India. It also might be because I'm playing the least popular of the three (Jain.)
  15. BioShock Infinite

I think I might have made it even further It really didn't fully sink in for me until I flat out listened to the audio log.
  16. InFAMOUS Vanaman

    Ah, I forgot about Crackdown.
  17. BioShock Infinite

I must be the only person in whole world that hadn't heard of God Only Knows before playing. I didn't realize the music thing they were doing until almost half way through.
  18. Crusader K+ngs II

I was having fun once I found a good start but, so far at least, the DLC doesn't seem to have added a ton. The added map size might be worth $15 to some people, but I was pretty happy with the land that we already had. To be perfectly honest, I'd rather have had a China expansion. It's too late for Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but there was still a lot of dynastic strife going on near the turn of the millenium. I'll certainly report back after I've had some more time with it.

  20. Crusader K+ngs II

I plaued about two hours of RoI last night. The way that the new counties and countries are arranged is... poor. I tried starting out at the Stamford Bridge start as a couple different counts and found that the dutchies are all mis-aligned. The game starts with de jure wars all over India as the dukes re-arrange counties to get what's properly theirs (screwing me in the process.) I eventually decided to play as a duke however, and I had tons of options on how to expand because of all that strife, so I guess it's a plus or a minus depending on what you want to do. Addtiionaly, a friend was flipping between different times taking a look at possible starts and came across one king who was running at 72/9 demense size. The caste system is interesting, the new religeons don't seem to have a lot of flavor to them, but that might change as time goes on. Some of the new UI features are awesome, but some are also broken, and the new UI skin is pretty hard to look at. I like how the traits now list "same trait relations bonus" and "opposite trait penalty" for things like Brave and Craven, but I've seen several tooltips that list "NONE: +10" for some reason.
  21. InFAMOUS Vanaman

I thought the first one was fairly innovative for its time. Everyone was going crazy about that and Prototype having the God of War gameplay with an open world and traversal mechanics right?
  22. BioShock Infinite

My experience is that there's usually someone telling you to get away, but the sound mix and surround sound position for a lot that stuff is off and it's hard to hear. On top of that, the game's subtitles seem to be on-again off-again for any ambient dialog.
  23. Diablo III

I'm a bit further in now, I really like how the areas in the new act are stuffed with special events. That's made playing through this a pleasure. I only wish my wife would play more so we could get done with act 5 and I could play adventure mode.
  24. Oculus rift

Or Facebook could just cancel the project when it looks like it isn't going to make enough money. Or Facebook could force them to release early and ruin the whole thing. Just to be clear, I'd be just as bummed if Microsoft purchased them. They have the same track record of playing with something for a little while and then loosing intrest and moving on. I understand that they weren't getting the display panel tech they needed and so this purchase makes sense but, fundamentally, you are taking a company that existed for the sake of making good technology and turning it into a company that exists soley to make money (and if making good technology leads to that, then that's good too I guess.)
  25. Oculus rift

I was so excited for the Rift too.
