How is Seto working out for you? I'm kinda worried with the amount of injuries that have plagued the season so far. Especially since many of them come from kind of the same play around the end boards. Is it just because the season has just started and the players haven't quite gotten their smarts about them yet or have people just gotten extra shitty all of a sudden?

I quite liked the first 60% of the game. However, the game took a severe nosedive at the end which has kind of soured the entire experience for me. What is it with David Cage and endings? It's not that everything goes batshit insane in his games, it's more the fact that suddenly tons of new developments are just sprung upon you without any build up or warning and are concluded about as quickly.

Wooo! Sharks! Being Swedish hockey is my main sport as well. Wanted to play as a kid but my parents couldn't afford it. Not super invested though, but I like to check out the scores every now and then as well as catching a game whenever I can. Besides the Sharks (to whom my fandom is based upon loving the animal when I was a kid) I also cheer for my hometown team Frölunda Indians, a bunch of constant underachievers much like the Sharks.

Familjen - Huvudet i sanden (Head in the sand) Really like this video. As far as Werewolves go, I really like this kind of design of mostly being a very hairy human with big teeth. Sort of reminiscent of how Bigby in A Wolf Among Us looks when he is "wolf-ing" out. This one is also good

This is one thing that sort of stresses me out a little bit whenever I think of traveling abroad, especially to America, because in Sweden we don't really tip (And some people won't even accept tips if you try). This because restaurant personnel generally are paid decently (their cut is basically already in the price of the meal rather than something that is added on later depending on the good will of the customer). So my fear is that I will forget about it in places where the employees depend on it and unwittingly screw people over.

Are you like my lost twin or something? Recognize myself in a lot of that. Seen quite a few people talking about the importance of setting goals etc.. Was even brought up during my last evaluation meeting at work. But I just can't think of anything within the given time frames usually used in these that I actually want... Well, except being happy I suppose. A VIDEO! Couldn't post this in the comical youtube thread for two reasons! It's not on youtube, also it is VERY SAD. (be warned etc)

Trackballs Have stations at work where we have to use them. The Gabepad looks interesting though, while I'm slightly wary about the input methods I really want to try it out!

Taps into the melancholy spirit of us Swedes. We produce a lot of happy and beautiful things, but a lot of it also has that tinge of sadness in it. Found this old folk song today called "Låt till Far" (Song for Father) which I just find hauntingly beautiful. Listening to it I also get a feeling of wanting to know more about my country's past and inspired to produce something that draws upon that past. It's a weird feeling to have after having spent so many years thinking about our old cultural heritage as just "old bullshit" (As most Swedish youths seem to do). Yet it is still a very pleasant feeling of belonging in a way. Huh. Anyway, without further ado I give you, the weather:

Wow, thanks! Well, I barely know what I'm doing (Also, I'm using GIMP and not PS) so I don't know how much I can help. But here's how I did the texture on the hammerhead here (In very basic detail and without pictures as I didn't save any progress shots): I first paint the shape I want to make in its "base color" After that I add highlights and shadows where applicable Then comes the time to add texture, and I need to figure out what kind of material it is the hammerhead is made out of. For the brown area here I always imagined it being a big and heavy slab of rock, so I head to google to find images of rock faces that have a texture I like Once I find an image I like, I download it and load it into GIMP as a separate layer I set the layer mode to "Overlay" and place it above the color, light and shadow layers I scale down the image as needed and line it up with the hammerhead Once I find a position I like I use the "Magic wand" tool on the "Base Color" layer to select the shape the texture should be applied to and then invert my selection (Usually Ctrl+i) I then select the Texture layer again and delete the selection leaving texture only on the hammerhead shape After this I adjust the opacity of the layer until I am happy And that's pretty much it.

This is how my mind works all the time. First week of vacation was awful for that very reason. No job to occupy the mind and none of my mates were available yet. It's always good when you can identify what causes the depression. Then you can work at it and get to the root of it all.

Did anyone else feel the audio levels in this episode were a bit off? Sometimes I could barely hear the guys and the next they would either laugh or something so loud that my ears hurt. :/

I've always been sort of "on the fence" with regard to Advance Wars. The art style and the fact that it is a strategy game really appeal to me, but then the fact that it sort of comes across as a a puzzle game as well... I really dislike when strategy games have a "Correct" way to win a level.

I'd definitely be up for a round or two.
