Important notes on the new Vita: it finally includes 1GB of internal memory (yaaaay), but the screen is now LCD instead of OLED (boooo). Sony's claiming that advancements in tech have made the LCD screen look just as good, but I dunno. Oh, and it's 15 to 20 dollars cheaper.

They do! Most of them, anyway. It's so that the rhythm-based part of the battle system doesn't get trivially easy. I actually bought a GP2X Wiz years ago specifically so I could play this on a handheld, but never actually finished the game. I really ought to get back to it.

260, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the NES. Approximately left to right, top to bottom: I actually had to dig a bunch of that stuff out of my closet. I used to collect a lot of shit until a few years ago and don't actually like most of it now (I actually kind of hate Transformers, for example. I just liked Sideways' design). I've just had a hard time getting rid of all of it.

I absolutely loved Jake's hypothetical Wind Waker Mario opening.

So I just watched the Ace Attorney film. True to form, it's a totally self-serious film that just happens to have absurd cartoonish elements. It's ridiculously faithful to the source material, and probably the best video game to movie adaptation.

A Boy and His Blob has pretty decent gameplay, by the way. Visually this is kind of giving me the same vibe as Ducktales Remastered, where the blocky 3D environments look pretty crummy, especially in contrast with the hand-drawn sprites. It's a shame, because Gigi D.G. is apparently doing background art and I normally love her work.

This statement could be applied to virtually any Wayforward game.
