I may or may not have started sketching Lord Remo yesterday.

It was split perfectly evenly down the middle. The right side was a classic motorcycle like you might see a greaser in the fifties riding; the left was an (entirely fictional) experimental armoured motorcycle allegedly created by Germany during WWI.

So a baby seal walks into a club.

When the Blockbuster I used to work for closed down, I took the entire store supply of that weird pearlescent pink industrial restroom handsoap. I haven't bought handsoap in two and a half years. I'm still good for at least another two.

Bioshock just turned into the full version at some point without me noticing. Weird!

I had a dream that involved a guy named Lord Motorcycle who drove a double motorcycle.

I really hope they hang it up somewhere where, it's always visible in streams, like how Giant Bomb has a clearly-visible framed and edge-lit copy of this in every video where you see them on the couch. Also, I wanna' try my hand at one of these now.

also I'm pretty sure all I have to delete the demo and re-redownload it but that's pretty much the least intuitive possible course of action so I'm still calling this whole situation dumb

So last month the free 1-hour demo thing was for Bioshock Infinite. I downloaded it and decided I'd play it later. As of this month, Infinite is completely free as part of the Instant Game Collection. I decided to finally play it because I figure it needs an update or something to take the time restriction off, since my download was essentially identical to the full game otherwise. It updates to the latest version, but the little yellow bar showing that it's a timed demo is still there, so I decide to check the store and see if maybe re-downloading it will just download a patch or something. NOPE. It redownlods the entire fucking game, with that terrible PSN download throttling that makes it take something like two and a half hours. So I sit and wait for it and stay up until 12:40 and then... And then the install deleted itself. I still have the timed demo. Video games.

I got a counselor as part of my workplace's health benefits, having been referred by Blue Cross. The counselor helped me get into Mental Health services, but I still haven't actually gotten anywhere regarding that.

This Spelunky Classic video is amazing, because the guy plays nearly identically to Chris for most of it and because it has the most tragic ending possible.

It happened again. I threw up a bunch of water onto the bed and just barely made it to the toilet. My body even kept trying to throw up when I ran out of stomach contents. This is the worst.

I just woke up in the middle of the night and began throwing up. I feel scared.

I am immediately sold on Lumberjanes, you guys.

I've mentioned before that Gone Home really hit close to home for me for having been in a really similar situation (right down to abandoning a beloved plush dinosaur), but I have felt frustration in the past that there aren't more stories about happy gay relationships (the only one I've experienced that I can think of off the top of my head is an obscure adorable lesbian manga). Think of it as being like the debate that always comes up around art games when someone says that games have to be fun. The production of one thing isn't exactly taking away from the production of the other. I just want to see more of both. That being said, that commenter's being really insensitive. People cope in different ways. It's not her place to judge others for not being able to cope at the same rate or in the same way as themselves.

I cleaned my apartment, did my laundry, and had a friend over. Outside of having to reroute a conversation to avoid a religious discussion, it was a pleasant day. But at the end of it, I still feel like butt.

The 3DS was the best-selling console of the year, which is part of why this was kind of a shock.
