me too. I just completed on hard as well, 6 hours 20 mins. I had no interest of 100% it like I do with most of these metrovania type games, because like you said, it's very linear and so by the end I really didn't feel the need to travel back to all the location to uncover the 5% of the map that remained uncovered because I hadn't hit it via the critical path.I will say the beginning of the game felt a little sparse on the upgrade side, it felt like a long time before you acquired the second energy type, but then got the rest of the upgrades really close together.... Which made the second half of the game super fun And yeah, story so I assume strider died re-entering the earths atmosphere, if the end credits movie went on a little longer we would've seen striders face starting to melt I liked it more than Dust: A furry tail which a quit probably after about six hours

This one is SUPERGIANT! Tone Control 10: Amir Rao & Greg Kasavin
melmer replied to Steve's topic in Tone Control Episodes
I've just got to the bastion weapon upgrade part, I'm so glad they didn't go with the planting weapons upgrade system. I hate that! I assume that would mean if you want to improve your favourite weapon you have to sacrifice using it for 10mins while it upgrades. Steve brought up Odin Sphere, and although I didn't actually get very far in that game, I remember I really disliked planting thing and having to wait for them. My biggest criticism of the system isn't the waiting thought, it's the 'not being able to use an item/weapon to upgrade it'. The example of this that sticks in my mind is Vanquish, amazing game, but a hateful upgrade system. If you had the maximum capacity of bullets in a weapon, when you would collect ammo for the weapon instead filling your ammo it would upgrade the weapon... But this lead to me not using the weapons I had the most fun with for the majority of the game because I wanted to upgrade them. I can see why they did this, to force variation on the weapons you'd use. But I would've enjoyed the game so much more if I hadn't had to impose a restriction on myself. Also it was fucking criminal that they game didn't have a new game+, quite literally it is the only game EVER that I wanted to play through again with my pain stackingly upgraded weapons. I thought this time round I can actually enjoy myself and use which ever weapon I like..... Nope, no new game plus Anyway, crazy irrelevant tangent aside, great cast! -

The Matrix It's coming back in a big way, trust me Enter the Matrix #LookOut. Neo ain't dead (sorry spoilers) he's just been kicking back at a mountain reserve these past 10 years Who'd have thought it, Campo Santo, making a Golf game set in the Matrix universe -

I'll post it in here You know what I'm thinking... Why play the most dangerous game? Why use the Hunger games as an analogy so often? Why are these ideas so prevalent in Sean's noggin? I think we're going to see people in extraordinary circumstances, pitted against each other. Post apocalyptic? Maybe. the last survivors. There is going to be some lord of the flies shit going down. The interactions between a small group of people, isolated, alone, up in the mountains.... At the Lookout. Oh also, that's the name of the game. The Lookout You've got to love a little wild speculation -
I started this today, played the first 20minutes.... Wow what a stinker. I wasn't expecting much, but jeez. The main draw for me going in was the games looks, I wanted a super pretty game to play on my PS4 but it's not particularly attractive. Those outfits the thief's are wearing 8| I'm sure the concept art looked cool, but stylised sketches of dark sleek figures covered in belts just doesn't work when translated to a 3D models in a realistic inhabited game world, they just look kinda ridiculous

my car has broken just putting it in gear after work and i heard a god awful crutch...no, its was much like a clank. anyway it sounded like the hole engine fell out. i think it might be something wrong with the gearboxy clutchemajig. I've got breakdown cover who are coming out in 90mins but to be fair, i can get back into work and just doss about on my computer and i'll get the breakdown guy to tow me to the garage where the car is already booked in tomorrow anyway (we have a tiny hole in a radiator pipe) so in the grand scheme of cars breaking... i'm in like the top 10% Although, that CLANK sounded fucking expensive

Edge magazine said something similar in their review I believe, it recommend playing it at a higher difficulty with modifiers. I'll have to do a little research before I start, find the right difficulty for me I don't think I'd have the patients for Master :/ Hell, I'll start on Master, I can always turn it down if it gets too frustrating

You can't use <div>'s in emails I've been doing this email marketing shit for almost three years now and I feel like I should impart my wisdom. I found these tutorial last week which pretty much explains everything I've painstakingly had to figure out myself over the years, I've actually spent most of today cleaning up the code in my templates according to these articles... Mastering HTML Emails: http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/series/mastering-html-email--webdesign-17696 If you need any help give me a shout It wouldn't take me that long to convert your code into something that would display correctly across all browsers/devices. -

He's been posting a lot on Facebook too if you want to be nosey https://www.facebook.com/ken.levine.9 Zynga is hoping to snap up all dat Bioshock talent https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z4qiPuNZgYsyeAmYp_PdkM1XVxFRHI2xpSxznofGIkw/mobilebasic?viewopt=127 Edit, oh my bad that's just their internal 'links to potential employers' doc. Here is a list of the company's attending their recruitment day https://www.facebook.com/ken.levine.9/posts/10202483601190245 In this instance would these employers be completely open about what they are making? For example, hypothetically, would the new Amazon games company say openly "you will be working on freemium mobile apps". I suppose this goes for all video game employment, how often do you fully know what you are getting yourself in for when you accept a position?

Bad Golf Academy As well as being a golf game (as we all know that part is locked in) it's also a social simulator set at a golf academy in the rocky mountains. Think Psychonauts but with putting instead of telekinesis Also, this game is going to have a distinct lack of penis https://twitter.com/thatjaneng/status/436976094038614016 -

Although I haven't played it YET (I doubt I'll be able to resist when it lands on PS4) I really wish it wasn't some transform mech bullshit, JUST GIVE ME A STAR FIGHTER GODDAMNIT I'd welcome variations on the space combat theme, as this is, with open arms if it wasn't for the fact I haven't been able to get my hands on a decent space combat game in like 5+ years They've gotta be making a starwars one to coincide with the new rebels animated serious right? Disney have to have looked at how wildly popular the star citizen kickstarter has been? Riiiiiiiiight???? (Although, to be fair I am completely over starwars these days, probably prefer something in the mass effect universe)
