I watched a little trailer. Now am thinking the games about child abuse. Some Fritzl shit has been going down in that basement. The night is dark and full of terrors Is cthulhu in the attic? (Its weird, because its a video game my mind instantly always travels to the extreme dark places, I see a dark empty house and instantly think silent hill. I've never experienced subtlety in a game like this before, its always some grotesque flesh monster and a dead body in the last room)

Why is there always a dead body in the final room? Or maybe it'll be a surprise birthday party! Sorry I don't really know anything about this game, although I did watch that fridge video... I know nothing about this game. Is it a horror game? I'm guessing its not? Although unfamiliar empty house at night time is kinda spooky. Are you worried that people will think its a horror game? Which would be totally alright if it is a horror game. But is it a horror game though? Ain't you glad I didn't come to your GDC booth

I completed God of War Ascension a few weeks back, kind of a slow start but by the time the credits rolled The way the levelling up works means you don’t really get to have any fun until about the half way mark when you start unlocking magic. There are disposable side weapons this time round which are a fun little distraction, but 90% of the time you will be using the good old blades of chainy death. Kratos is a very angry man yet again, but this time I feel deservedly so. 3 nasty witches are toying with him and the memories of his dead family. The puzzles are pretty good, there are 3 or 4 real head scratchers. I was actually surprised at how difficult they were and that they didn’t supply any hints (but I suppose in this day and age you can just jump on youtube to figure them out) (Actually a friend of mine quit GoW1 because he got stuck on a puzzle) The menu screen is utterly stupid, I didn’t even realise it was a ‘menu’ until about half way through the game. If ‘The Multiplayer mode cannot be found on the Main Menu.’ Is a Frequently asked question you’ve obviously done a piss poor job of creating a menu But all in all well worth a play One little thing I noticed is after Kratos dismembers one of the witches, chopping off an arm. No one bats an eyelid… it’s never addressed. Not even a little ‘I’ll get you for this’. Now if someone chopped my arm off, I’d be pretty miffed. But imagine being an immortal, having lived since the beginning of creation, then one day some little scamp comes along and chops off your arm, how annoyed would you be knowing that you now have to live out the rest of eternity missing an appendage! Not even a mention

look at that verticality its unreal, i never fully appreciated these gameplay demos until now i hope we're treated to something like this in the DLC. I've heard one will reveal more about the songbird, hopefully that means you'll play as the man who gets turned into songbird. Make him a fearless daredevil, the first man to ride the sky lines, fighting crime, Columbias own superhero! Who gets duped and mortally injured by the villainous Fink and transformed into Songbird. Or don't set it in Columbia at all...

Now that the game is finally out, I wonder how the frat boys liked it? It's funny I was looking at the amazon reviews for it today, see what average joe public thinks of it, and came up with some stuff that never even crossed my mind like weapons not changing appearance when upgraded and NO BIG DADDY'S: 3/5 I really loved Bioshock 1 and loved everything about it. The graphics, the atmosphere, the characters and of course Rapture. I was really disappointed with this game but will show you my pros and cons so it doesn't make it a boring review. Pros Another Bioshock Game Some nice graphics in places (Church and candles) The Skylines are something different and quite fun to travel on In depth story for hardcore fans Cons Jerky frame rate that hiccups often Blury textures and over saturated colours No Atmosphere (unlike BS1) Boring main characters (except Liz) No big daddies Too complex story (especially ending) why? Weapons are boring and don't look different when upgraded Picking up coins and health a chore Liz keeps passing coins.. Annoying !! No map and pressing d-pad to find out where to go is a pain Too many cloned (look alike) people I really was disappointed and cannot see what all the hype is about this game? I think Bioshock 1 was FAR better and wont be selling that one !! (This guys handle is probably BigDaddyFan37)

I think that would've just been a place holder voice and the proper voice talent came on later when the majority of the script was written

Bookers practically a Jedi in that video Telekenesis always feels more like a tool than a weapon to weapon, unless you've got ravenholms circular saw blades scattered all over the place I never really think to use it, dead space 3 really tries to push it as a weapon towards the end of the game. But if I'm not being forced or told to use it my mind doesn't think to use it. Perhaps they'll make use of TK in the DLC?

Earlier i looked at the xbox live gallery images and they're all still from the 2010 demo where Comstock doesn't have a beard or is particularly old Everyone should watch the 2010 10min demo again once they finished the game it's fascinating, there's telekinesis and all sorts going on The quantum levitation thing must not have been thought up yet either as the buildings are on big old air balloons I want a moving mechanical horse! I kinda really want to play that game now. Man I hope being tied to this console generation didn't massively hold the game back, it fit on one DVD for the Xbox for Christ sake. Saying that, after seeing PC screenshots I feel like I've missed out massively not playing this on a PC. I hope to god they put out a next gen game of the year edition with all the DLC, make it a console launch downloadable title and it'll probably be the first game I buy
