  1. The Witcher 3: What Geralt Wants

My wife's Polish so I've gotten a lot of exposure to this stuff already
  2. Looks like a new wave of keys went out so don't be shy asking for them, people
  3. The ship: fruitcake steam cruise.

I'm definitely buying him a beer if he ever heads to my location that's for sure. I love this kind of hobby project.
  4. The Witcher 3: What Geralt Wants

This is a movie adaptation of one of the Witcher short stories that launched the franchise. It's pretty well-done. http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/The_Witcher_(short_story) (spoilers obv.)
  5. Disney buys Lucasfilm

We're definitely in the stage of the band's lifecycle where one would consider a Solo career.
  6. The city simulation is so advanced it even has a store! e: or should that be "commercial meta-district"?
  7. What does your view look like?

    Lovely weather today.
  8. Books, books, books...

Of course, when the same is as good as Gibson can get, that's not necessarily bad. I'm a huge fan of his new current-dayish work.
  9. DOTA 2

I also still have invites (steam's in my profile).
  10. Unnecessary Comical Picture Thread

Hahahaha, I love it. No Ghosting!
  11. What does your view look like?

I love the fragile colours that the sky turns here in winter.
  12. Huzzah! Signatures only which is appropriate given that I only kicked enough for Puffin Mode.
  13. Discworld

I've never been anywhere on the internet that wasn't populated with at least a majority of people who enjoy PTerry.
  14. I would assume that parties interested in Wildman have already done so. There's no bringing anything on anyone; the campaign has had more than its share of publicity by now. If people aren't interested then they aren't.
  15. That's as may be but Space Siege was specifically marketed with Chris' name all over it. I understand why they did so but the consequent complete disowning (while completely sensible) amuses me. Look at the enthusiasm in this trailer! Anyway I don't want to belabour the point and I honestly wish Chris all the best even though GPG's latest offerings haven't really charmed me.
  16. I read the Let's play :http://lparchive.org/The-Chzo-Mythos/ If you have an SA account the thread is also really worth reading because Yahtzee chimed in with a lot of fascinating insider commentary.
  17. I meant in the list of credits at the beginning (where Dungeon Siege was mentioned), it just tickles my funny bone how that game is omitted everywhere. Great episode, I love hearing Chris talk about the Good Old Days of programming.
  18. Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

How odd, I have had no such issues with my friends. Did you pick up Path of Exile as an alternative group diablolike yet?
  19. Haha, just like with the Wildman Kickstarter, Spacie Siege is surgically removed from the list of games.
  20. If this also worked for regular showers gaming conventions would be a lot more pleasant.
  21. I completely forgot to mention this, but the first thing I did after reading Wolfsheim's first appearance was to google 'Fitzgerald antisemite' because I had no idea what the context was, and whether this was a consistent thing in his writing/views. It struck me as so incongruous after the way in which Tom's ideas are introduced that I was very confused. I think you guys handled it well on the podcast.
  22. Plug your shit

RPS really likes it! I think you'll make a bunch http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/01/28/wot-i-think-no-time-to-explain/#more-139942
  23. Discworld

Just read them in order if you're not in a hurry. None of the books is so bad as to not be worth reading, and they get mostly better as you go which is a bonus. If you only want to read a subsection, Small Gods is also my favourite of the bunch and largely stands alone. The City Watch books and the Witch books are usually fan favourites.
  24. You know you're in for trouble when people say stuff like 'I had to work my way through Finnegan's Wake before I could appreciate it.'
