Those are trick questions - the correct answer is 'any number' because with a list of finite size there's infinite possible algorithms to generate the next number.

I strongly disagree with the 'only' part here. While that's a shitty side-effect of saying such a thing, burkas are also a shitty thing when forced on women (as they are). That might not be a particular can of worms to open all over this thread though.

Honestly, that made me more sad than anything. I'm not good at laughing at broken people.

Yes, BUT: - your workplace needs both time and space for the mother to pump - you then need to store and transport the pumped milk - a pump just plain might not work. Milk production is triggered by both mechanical simulation and contact with the baby (pheromone/hormone absorption through smell/skin). - for the above reason a pump usually extracts less milk, leading to less production and before you know it you're in a vicious cycle. So while possible, it's not ideal. My wife had trouble on our second child. Regarding the decision whether or not to breastfeed, it's of course a priori the woman's decision, but like most parenting decisions, I believe it should be something that's decided as a unit. We both thought it was important to do after reviewing what evidence we could find. It's unfair that then the burden so largely fell upon her, but there's very little to do about that. Luckily here employers are obligated to allocate time and place for pumping to breastfeeding mothers so it wasn't too much of a burden, and I could then use the stored milk to relieve her sometimes. Overall we weren't too displeased at the end of the 9 recommended months. What a fuss.

SuperHanc, thank you for injecting some more direct perspective.

I completely agree. It was driving me crazy, which was sad because all the ingredients were there for a great 'cast (and it largely was when things lined up - I'm really interested in playing Dangon Ronpa now, for example). But yeah, she's a textbook example of how we tend to form an opinion first and only afterwards try to justify it.

I've experienced that Steam Sale Moment of Shame where I went to buy a game I already own.

Congrats on the girlfriend though Rodi! Don't think I picked up on that yet.

Those are great tips but I can't kill the first boss, like, ever.

I think the situation where you need to invest a lot of resources into glyphing to get all the recipes might be what keeps everyone from getting into it then.
-
I think it's a matter of me hitting the game at the point people mostly finished their main's runs through draenor and now everyone's leveling alts, which means glyphs are in demand. I have no idea what the garrisons do or whether they would obviate the demand for glyphs. There's definitely not a glut of lower-level herbs, I hoovered most of those out of the AH to the point that their price is now at three times what it was when I started.

Oh duh, sorry. I've been mixing that title up ever since we decided to go see it. I'll say it's probably not something everyone will enjoy if only due to the horror elements, but to me it was excellent especially for the surprising way it handles its emotional beats. The dry uncomfortable Office-y humour layers strangely with that.

I just saw What We Do At Midnight and was left pretty much speechless. What a crazy ride. Well-recommended. A mockumentary about vampires in New Zealand by the Tall Conchord (Jemaine). Featuring Werewolf Murray.

To me your responses read as unappreciative and uninterested in actual feedback instead of back-patting and maybe some QA.

I'm kind of happy I got my PhD just because I would never have expected me to be able to get one, so it's sort of a proof to me that yes I can do things. That does help with thinking about/getting jobs in an abstract way at least.

Me and my wife popped on the 10-day trial a couple of days ago. Our highest characters were in the middle of northrend. Yeah. It's been kind of amusing though because we're running a warrior/priest combo which means there is essentially zero risk of ever dying to anything ever. So far our record pull for a kill quest has been 15 mobs (couldn't find more). On the bright side, Tradeskillmaster is even better these days so I'm making 5k/day off of very little effort just doing inscriptions. I forgot how entertaining the auction game is.

Once you get enough doublejumps on the bandit and some guardian shields it becomes very hard to die. I could never make the sniper work though. The poison beast is hilarious. I really appreciate the class diversity in this game.
