I'm looking for a Rocksmith deep discount, or anything off Starbound.

I'm only about 40 minutes in, but this one is so great. This whole series has been awesome and valuable. I don't think there has been much effort to get to know creatives outside of just marketing jargon. I think this kind of thing will be valuable to define schools of thought and maybe help people create better.

1) who knew the MegaMan scene was such an open sewer? 2) how little power do those dudes have in real life to assume that a community manager is going to be able to push through whatever ideas to final product, like there isn't a producer, review process, styleguide, or best practice list to contend with? 3) i'm not watching 20 minutes of smarmy misogynistic ranting, but skipping to the end it devolves into conspiracy theory. 4) since these dudes are nuts for semantics doesn't insulting somebody as a "social justice warrior" put you semantically in the "injustice" camp?

MRA is a baked in subsection of Reddit. A recursive wheel of entitlement and assholery. It's been a real banner week for vile male reaction to the EXISTENCE of women, that Depression Quest twitter thing, AND in the Might Number 9 revealing their new community manager is a WOMAN, who once drew FAN ART of herself as a robot in the game style.

Haha, YES! That is generally considered to be the single worst episode of TNG too! -

Wild Speculation - Fullbright's next game is...

You also also choose to start as Sam's Mom and have to hunt forrest ghosts, and choose between two romance options, based on who gives you the most trinkets. -

Also, to counter the YA complaints it's obvious a faithful adaption of Blood Meridian. There will be an interactive "impale the babies on tree spikes" section. -

How long could it take to get fluent in not just Spanish, but metaphysical philosophical sci-fi Spanish? Thanks though! I know they've talked about it on the podcast, and the recent death of Umberto Eco's translator, but it's wild to imagine how much or how little I've really experienced stuff, based on translations.

I wish this was even longer. I know there isn't a good publishable answer here, but I really wanted to a hear a "so, what are you working on at Valve?" Even though we all know it's a totally procedural, system drive open world HL3 earth vs aliens game. -

Hey, quick question about Borges. Looking at the two collections on Amazon (Labyrinths and Collected Fictions) there are a bunch of vocal and seemingly well informed 1 star reviews about Hurley's translation in C.F. Any thoughts on that?

Haha, yeah that sounds pretty awesome. I love the idea of boundless exploration and survivalism, but there is a part of me that can never full buy in to this without some kind of "history" engine. Maybe the game will play out some galactic struggle, and you can choose to play your role or not.

i think he was largely pushed out of day to day duties after Season 2, when they brought Braga on. -
The Swapper - Great environmental feeling and ambience, fun puzzles, and a nice story. I really dug the sections where you drop out into space, and all the sound cuts out. Dishonored: Knife of Dunwall - I have nobody to blame but myself, but I wish the game forced Daud into killing, but since I saw Ghost/No Kills were an option/award I did it that way. More great level design, and the final mission was a solid challenge.

I love Lower Decks. I've got to disagree with S.A.M. about Menage. All the Troi's Mom episodes are kind of painful, AND they carried them into DS9. Also, we can't forget she was Nurse Chapel in TOS! I think the she is one of the very few people to appear on all Treks. -
I didn't watch this, but it's funny to contrast the smarmy junk and disdain of the show with the idea that GTA 5 made 1 billion dollars in 1 day, the kind of payday Hollywood dreams of. How hard did they have to synergistically upsteam market The Avengers to get there?

Idle Thumbs 135: That's My Goof
feelthedarkness replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
It's understandable to not want key/surprise elements of a largely narrative experience spoiled, but CoJ's "gameplay modified by narrative" is the selling point of the game. If you didn't know that, you probably hadn't heard of the game at all. I really liked how it was handled in that one episode (I think Bioshock Infinite related) where you guys put in a time checkpoint to skip narrative stuff, though I understand if nobody wants to make that effort regularly. Sidebar: I've been conflicted about picking up Gunslinger. Tekland has done some pretty noxious stuff, particularly the previous CoJ games, and the marketing/achievement scumming of Dead Island. -

So the YoL is really the Dishonored Year of Luigi. -
upon verification of miskillings, or accidental depurchases as the literature will call them, the recipient will then have his cards electronically scanned, and billed for a few discounted kindle fires, which will be then sent to any surviving relatives.

obviously the yellow crates will be lined with a small quantity of explosive, should anything catastrophic happen to the drone, they will incinerate the goods, as a pyrrhic victory is still a victory.
