  1. No Man's Sky

wow didn't think I would be berated for saying something I thought the trailer depicted, for all we know there could be a story, trading or even design/building elements. Edit: Sorry! I just read Ben X's post wrong
  2. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

My girlfriend just bought me the whole set of Scott Piligrim books because i loved the movie so much. Also I about to finish the third chapter in the Starwars Crimson empire series and its been great so far!
  3. Recently completed video games

I finished the racer half of Need for Speed: Rivals and really enjoyed it! much better than my last experience with the series 'The Run'. The game is beautiful and the cars are really nice to handle, but there are a couple of things holding it back in my opinion: The racers and cops dont share cars, I really want to drive the Nissan GTR or thekoenigsegg ccxr but I cant because they are cop cars, Wha?! The storyline is appalling, but its a need for speed game, so what you'd expect. The progression is good, but as a racer I feel they push me to wreck other racers too often, I dont like doing it. I like clean-ish races and running away from the cops, not slamming into racers over and over again. When you start a race the car has to come to a complete stop for a couple of seconds, which is fine, as long as the cops aren't after you! I have stopped with 100% and started races with 25% health due to that problem. There is almost no customization of the cars, you can change the paint and put a decal on it (which are all horrible i might add). thats it, no GT3 body kits or paint styles, nothing. But over all I really enjoyed it. If people aren't feeling it I would recommend going up to the snowy mountains and drifting round the icy turns, thats some damn good fun! Im not really going to play the cop campaign as i dont like violence in my racing, I like being the hunted, not the hunter.
  4. No Man's Sky

I watched both the trailer and the interview and I am so excited for this game, I'm guessing its just exploration, but a bit of combat in there too? I'm getting a minecraft vibe from it.
  5. Apotheon

Saw this on rock paper shotgun today and the trailer looks beautiful. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/12/04/mythmas-time-apotheon-trailer/

A couple of days ago I bought a new harness set for my climbing, I have not been that excited or chuffed in a very very long time. That day I went Christmas shopping, ended up buying a new harness and a new watch which I am going to pick up today

na you have to work a minimum of 37.5 hours a week, but you have normally done that by thursday haha
  10. Life

As long as I get paid I dont mind Over time is great, espesiaclly how after 40 hours a week you get time and a half. Guys in my office normally work 40-55 hour weeks. Also when you are on a project it is your/ your team's reposablilty to get the work done, so if the deadline is tomorrow and you get a call from a engineer or a fabricator at 5pm to change stuff, you are expected to stay until its done. I dont mind staying as the money is good and I enjoy the work.
  11. Far Cry 2

I took around 25-30 hours, but I used fast travel. I did the ambush missions until I unlocked the barret 50 cal, man that gun could stop trucks with a couple of shots.

In my last interview they (2 interviewers) asked me what my weakness was, i responded with 'time management', so they asked how I would work around it, so I said ' I would give my manager regular updates and work over time of needed'. They said that was a good answer. It shows that you would have confidence in communicating with management and shows that you dont mind putting extra time in

    Congrats!
  14. Far Cry 2

Yeah I always took fresh guns and always used the sniper and silenced mp5. Still had masses of fun and actually finished it. I wonder how many people have finished it on this forum?
  15. Jagged Alliance - Back in Action is a real time (but most of the time its paused) strategy game. I have been waiting for it to be on sale and it is! steam right now for £8.50. I have been interested after playing the demo a while back, but I sucked at it, So it kinda put me off. But all of the systems seem really cool, you have to manage your team of mercs with their equipment but also their attributes and traits. Seems really cool and with quite a lot of depth, just a bit hard to get into. Anyone else played it?
  16. Jagged Alliance - Back in Action

So after 2-3 hours of play I have a few things to report: The voice acting is terrible! its a poor 80s action movie parody, or that's what It sounds like. The AI is super dumb but can shoot a lot better than any of your own mercs. The UI is really bad, nuff said. And the economy seems broken, I started with a squad of 3 (maxing out my budget), one died and I couldn't afford to buy a replacement! The last thing that happened to me was a complete squad wipe, so I wont be going back. Just buy XCOM enemy unknown/within instead.

ARRIVAL is a mountain bike movie that on its release day is free to view for 24 hours! i have already ordered mine and it sick! If any one thinks that we are like road bikers, this should prove them wrong haha. I highly suggest everyone one to watch the first ten minutes, the POV whistler section really captures having fun biking with your friends. Also there is some awesome nature shots in there too check it out here http://www.pinkbike.com/video/341581

After having alopecia for 4 and a bit years you learn to not give a fuck about what people think and just be yourself haha it works way better than not seeing people or feeling weird in public, and it draws way less attention to it Teg I know that your not me and I have no idea how your mind works, but maybe just a bit of advice
