Also, just concatenating sounds clips and making it sound natural is a pretty awesome feat in itself, AI or no. At the train station in Milano, Italy there was this really cool automatic voice system that had a great flow. Also, the mentor advice thing in Chessmaster 10th Ed. (which I just started playing (it's fun!)) is also pretty cool, although the seams are obvious.
