Orv Posted February 28, 2012 FTL is a game I've been sort of not-following for a while now, in that PCG and RPS have both said a couple things about it a while back, but not a damn thing since. Well suddenly, it lives! It's a rogue-like, in space. Specifically you control nearly every function of a starship and its meager crew as you try to reach the exit of the solar system, you rebel scum you. RPSes Latest Bit O' Words Their Kickstarter (Stop taking my money, worthy indie projects!) And finally, while that Kickstarter beta is a bit off yet, if you have an OnLive account (or don't oppose to a tiny client download and registration) you can play a 30 minute demo of it as many times as you like on their service. Murdoc Posted February 28, 2012 Yeah I was interested in it until I tried to play it but turned out it just wasn't my thing. I like the idea and I see where it can go, but somehow I was wanting a little more DF out of it than I got. Also, the demo is on Onlive, which is my first experience using that service... for a small indy 2d game it was laggy as hell, so I better wait to give it a second go when I can install it on my system.
