Cult of Jared Posted April 5, 2011 April 15 in Milpitas California is the inventing the future of games conference. Featuring Jordan Mechner(most likely to be batman), Emily Short(the narrativest), Will Wright(was born ready to talk about 'inventing the future of games'), and probably some other people too. It is $100, or $30 if you are a UCSC student like me. It is a long shot: but if anyone is attending, or will be nearby, beers should be had.

On my first trip to the US I stayed in Milpitas of all places. Still haven't gotten over the jetlag

Still haven't gotten over the jetlag My only experience with the San Francisco area is via Midtown Madness 2. Subsequently, I wouldn't touch it with a nuclear weapon. There are people driving around in Mini Coopers in excess of 150MPH. (I wish I could go. Tell Jordan Mechner he's "wicked awesome" for me.)
