Wrestlevania Posted June 8, 2009 Unhappy at the unexpected and sudden announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 at this year's E3 as a standalone product, fans of the original game are mounting a boycott on Steam. Personally, I'm not thrilled about L4D2, particularly as Valve's spokesman at E3 seemed to be saying "we're releasing the L4D SDK soon, make your own updates" when pressed about support for the original. There was also much speculation about additional content before E3 - particularly a new campaign ending at the lighthouse, which appears in the new Survival mode - which has since fallen silent.
