Wrestlevania Posted November 26, 2008 Minotaur China Shop is the next game from Flashbang, purveyors of fine in-browser gaming such as Off-Road Velociraptor Safari and Jetpack Brontosaurus. In it, you play Minotaur. All Minotaur wants to do is run his own shop and sell fine china to his waiting customers. Unfortunately, Minotaur is cursed with being rather clumsy and having a very short temper. Having been imprisoned in the Labyrinth for his last misdemeanour - he accidentally tipped over a shelf of teacups and then destroyed the rest of the stock in a fit of rage - Minotaur is back. And this time, he has patented Minotaur Rage Insurance! I've been playing the beta today and it is, unsurprisingly, utterly charming and very funny to boot. General tips: You can keep destroying stuff after the shop closes, so it's best to become enraged after selling as much as possible. You'll want to focus on selling (advertising, speed) for the first two days, and insurance fraud (items, insurance, attacks) for the rest. n0wak Posted December 12, 2008 I dunno, I got about the same amount doing nothing BUT smashing. I made sure to increase my speed and drastically increase the inventory and insurance premiums, so that there was plenty to destroy and plenty to make off of it. Apart from some mistakes I made early (Accidentally bought stuff I didn't need), it was a most profitable venture. Oh, and I wish they'd hurry up and finish their site's community features. DanJW Posted December 12, 2008 The game really did make me laugh out loud. I was playing "straight" at first, trying not to break anything but also buying loads of stock. So eventually everything did fall down and the rage kicked in. The epic Carmina Burana-style music is just perfect and utterly hilarious. Also read this TOP 5 MINOTAUR MISCONCEPTIONS1. We just destroy everything I mean, really. Come on. I get up every morning, brush my fangs and horns, put on my minotaurkini, and start my day just like anybody else. My pile of hay is well ordered, my hoofs are buffed to a rippling shine, and the bones in my cave entrance are bleached, sanded and ordered by size.
