Wrestlevania Posted May 16, 2008 Well, in alpha anyway. It's as bizarre and wonderful as you could hope for.
DanJW Posted May 16, 2008 It's nice, but not as much frenetic fun as Raptor Safari. It's altogether a more chilled out game. I gave up after I got lost and stuck in the tunnel run. I will try again later.
Wrestlevania Posted May 16, 2008 Definitely. This one's an adventure and puzzle game. I think it's lacking on the score side of things, but it's very Minter-esque in terms of the graphics. I like the way the exhaust from the jetpack shows everything as devastated or dead - nice 'environmental' touch.
DanJW Posted May 16, 2008 I would describe it as a platformer. Haven't seen much puzzle or adventure yet. There's a portal over to the right of your starting position that swaps the alive/dead graphics, so you can see the skeleton all the time. Nice! Got stuck in the tunnels again. I can see why there's no score for it yet. Can't see a bloody thing in there.
Wrestlevania Posted May 16, 2008 I would describe it as a platformer. Haven't seen much puzzle or adventure yet. You're probably right; I was thinking 'puzzle' because you have to e.g. fly through different rings in a specific order. Got stuck in the tunnels again. I can see why there's no score for it yet. Can't see a bloody thing in there. The bronto doesn't even fit cleanly in the tunnel, no matter how carefully you fly. And each time you hit the bronto's head or tail on a tunnel wall your time gets bumped by 5 seconds.
ThunderPeel2001 Posted May 16, 2008 Hmmm... One word: Fiddly. Still, I'll give it a proper go when I've got time.
