Marek Posted March 9, 2008 Dude, you need some positivity training. You just have to grab them individually for now. Life's a bitch... (Oh, by the way, I forgot to say they aren't just interviews but also contain lectures.)
toblix Posted March 9, 2008 Dude, you need some positivity training. You just have to grab them individually for now. Life's a bitch... Yeah, sorry about negatoblix taking control of my typing hand there. Just the very fact that these have been released is awesome in many dimensions, and I'm looking forward to watching them! There. vimes Posted March 10, 2008 I just finished the one with Seamus Blackley, the guy's career is unbelievable : he was the composer of System Shock, physics programmer on Fly and now he's the agent of Tim Schafer, and plenty of other talented people ... the lecture is brilliant. Marek Posted March 11, 2008 Seamus Blackley is awesome.
toblix Posted March 11, 2008 I'm wm' watching the on one with Patricia York and with Patribut there's some weird issues wiwi audthe audiowards the end. end.
vimes Posted March 11, 2008 Seamus Blackley is awesome. There was this awesome quote when he talks about DoubleFine : "the thought of someone hurting Timmy make me so fucking man" and then " I tell you, Doublefine is going to close over my fucking dead body". It is really awesome to have someone like that in the industry, who really cares for the future of personalities in the industry.
toblix Posted March 16, 2008 I'm, you know, currently, like, watching, like, the, you know, video with, you know, like Marc, like, Leblanc, and, like, this guy, you know, like, says, like, "like", and, like, you know, "you know", like, you know, too fucking much, you know? It's, like, annoying, you know?
toblix Posted March 16, 2008 Jesus Louises, this guy says "like" or "you know" probably 30% of the time he's speaking. edit: I had planned to watch all these interviews and lectures, but this guy's really killing me. His interview is done now. Hopefully his lecture won't be so horrible.
Marek Posted March 16, 2008 Toblix: Seamus Blackley is your ticket to awesomeville.
toblix Posted March 16, 2008 Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. By the way, Marc's demonstration of and talk about Oasis was more interesting. It seemed that, because he had rehearsed this more, he was able to cut down on the "like" and "you know". If I had a Creative sound card and could record easily while watching the lecture, I'd post some mp3s of him saying stuff like "it's like, you know, like, like, you know, not like there's like, like, you know, like, you know," etc. And we could all laugh about it.
