loonyboi Posted June 13, 2006 The seriousess of the movie was lost with V* monolog of V in the beginning of the movie. That's in the comic, but it just didn't work on screen. When I saw that, I started to worry that it just wouldn't translate to film without looking silly. I will say that I was disappointed that they cut out my favorite scene in the book (the one where he gives the speech to the statue, and does both voices).
