How do you kill the beeyatch? (Fable spoilers)

LOL! Too funny. I've finished Fable, but I want to continue exploring Albion with my current hero (Liberator - old, weathered, and obscenely sexy beef hunk Spellcaster Warrior with a sweet heart), need to find and unlock all the treasure chests, etc. Thing is, I love my humble little hubby in Bowerstone South and want to stay married to him and only him. So, that in mind, I want my wife Lady Grey dead. DEAD! And then I want to buy the entire city of Bowerstone. So I did a search and found these hilarious possible ways of killing her:

i tried to kill lady grey to but.... she didnt die now that i think about it i think you just get her to follow you, take her out of the town, and slaughter her with your real weapon if that doenst work then its not possible..but i wont know this cuz she divorced me

I have tried continuously hitting her, but she just keeps getting up and asking for more.

First thing to do is to hit a guard and deny paying him the gold for doing so. Run around until all three guards are after you. Then run to wear Lady Gray is, and stay as close to her as you can. When the guards try to hit you, they'll hit her instead. Sooner or later she bites the bullet. Trust me it works, but it takes a little time. The guards usually hit you. Just keep trying. I did it once already, but I'm not sure what you reap from it, besides the good feeling that the witch is dead.....try it out.

Well, I did manage to finally kill her, but not the way I wanted to. I got 3 guards to chase me to her in Bowerstone North. I thought if I stayed close to her they'll hit her by mistake instead of me and eventually waste her. Didn't happen, I kept receiving the swords, not her. So I started to punch and kick her. Eventually she expired, but not before she divorced me, which I didn't want. Damn. That, and the guards kept coming nonstop, so I reloaded the game.

Tried murdering her again, but this time in the privacy of her bedroom. But she wouldn't die! She just kept screaming for help (which never came), and she never threatened divorce. Wtf! And she never leaves Bowerstone so I can't lure her into the woods and dispatch her there.

If anyone has any idea how to get rid of her (without divorce) let me know. Thanks.

Okay, I went back and reloaded. First I made sure she was walking around town, then I gave her a crapload of gifts (perfume, red roses, diamonds, etc.) to ensure she wouldn't divorce me ('cause I've been neglecting her). I then got her drunk on 3 beers so she wouldn't try running away, found a guard and punched him and soon had all 3 guards after me. I ran to Lady Grey, who was stumbling around totally pissed, and kept trying to dodge the guards' assaults to get them to accidently hit her instead. Soon she was dead! But ........ ....... nothing happened. I didn't inherit the town nor did it immediately go on the market to buy! Shit! At least the beeyatch is dead and the everyone in Bowerstone North isn't scared of me ('cause I wasn't the one who wasted her).

No! He's as adoring of me as ever! I lavish him with all sorts of gifts regularly, he gives me gifts of clothing and weapons, and he always wants a 'nice lie down'*. Funny thing is, he's either at home or off to the tavern, nothing else to do after retiring from being a schoolteacher, I guess.

So I tried in vain to kill her with my bare hands, but that never got anywhere. Eventually I just gave up.
