  1. Anyone know of any books/shows/movies/games that tackle the subject of the world after the acceptance of 'the other' (e.g. sentient robots, all races, cyborgs, what have you)? Got this spark after finishing Read Only Memories, and I kind of want to see what the world may be like if people actually got past all fears of 'the other.' I think the Star Trek series is a good candidate, given the emphasis on gathering individuals from all kinds of race on the show. Aside from that, though, I can't think of anything in particular.
