This is why my Morrowind folder is 6.8GB of mods, chaps. It looks like Oblivion while still being Morrowind. Spifficus.

I might have to bow out as DM. I'm not really sure what the deal is currently, but it sounds like I may be limiting my enjoyment time on the PC very soon here. Still writing the campaign, because I'm not sure where it's all going to lead, but I can't promise I can do it, at this moment.

My stomach tried to strangle my brain at the mental image of Jeff Gerstman spanking Brad Shoemaker. I stopped there before trying to think of any other possibilities. I'm going to go cry in a corner.

I consider the matter closed for me.

Idle Thumbs 51: Burnin' Down the Wolfman [Now with Video!]
Orv replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Commence tears. No worries Jake! -
Alright, aside from the giant tarantula, consider me on-board for this. All the way on-board.

I could heap technical/plot criticism on it all day, and still love the new Star Trek movie, to be honest. Like Rodi said, they got it right, and even the inconsistencies are Star Trek in nature, at times. Eagerly awaiting the second.

Turning on Frame Limiter also seemed to alleviate the problem, so I can only imagine something somewhere went wrong, and can't begin to guess what. Thanks for the excellent tech support Doug. -

I don't eat popcorn to begin with, so just pitchforks for me, thanks. -

I'll gather the pitchforks if someone else can bring the popcorn. We'll be ready, in any case. -
"Hey, potential galactic threat, lets throw ALL OF OUR CADETS at it." Five minutes later, all cadets are dead, along with many qualified officers. At least, that's the implication. "Get him off this ship." What, the brig isn't good enough? Oh, it's because Spock Prime is down below right now. Oddly convenient. The death of Spock's mother, while tragic, is kind of bizarre. Only the section of cliff containing Winona Ryder decides to collapse? Despite Spock being less than two feet away? Those are some really specific textbooks, Starfleet has; The perfect time to strike is when your enemy is about to destroy the universe with a super massive black hole. (The Enterprise's perfect moment of entry as Spock Younger is about to be torpedoed to death.) Warp 4 is max warp? Can't the NX-01 (the first Enterprise) break 5? I don't know if this was a mis-write, or what, but it irked me, because I am a nerd. That's what I remember off the top of my head.

Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server
Orv replied to MrHoatzin's topic in Multiplayer Networking
It seems to be loading faster now, and it may just be my texture pack, but I'll keep playing and see, as it's still relatively slow. I'm assuming it's lag, because I'm taking damage ages after I do the action that would cause it. And I just teleported some two hundred feet back. So. . .dunno! Wish I could tell ya more, Doug. -
Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server
Orv replied to MrHoatzin's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Either my chunks are loading incredibly slowly (hurrrr), or the server is lagging. Because I got about 40 blocks in every direction loaded and then WHABAM, error, disconnect. Hmmm. Edit: Definitely lag. I jumped into the subway by jumping out into the void and landing back in what had loaded. Took the damage and died three minutes later. Not sure what's going on. -
I don't know how many of you have heard of The Dead Workers Party, but they used to do a pretty hilarious TF2 podcast that, well, it was interesting, how it ended. I really enjoyed that and was very sad when it ended (even if the ending episode is hilarious), but they've moved on. . .to MineCraft. The Shaft is their new MineCraft podcast, and I'd recommend a listen. Hell, if you feel like being a madman, listen to it while you play MineCraft. I know I do. /advertising firm Seriously, give it a listen. I'd recommend skipping the first episode, as it's really more of a "What R MineCraft" discussion than "What I did in MineCraft today" but if you want to listen to the guys take turns describing MineCraft one sentence at a time, it's pretty awesome.

Been getting my Big Band on, not the least because of that damned commercial. r2S1I_ien6A

That's the thing. When I first saw it (the reboot, yes), I hated it. I despised the damn thing. I got the DVD for essentially Christmas that year because "I like Star Trek". (It was given to me because of that fact, I mean.) Yeah, it has plotholes the size of Jupiter, but the plot in general isn't horrible. I mean, it could have been a lot worse, and goes a fair way to explain the reboot. But I watched it again a little while ago, and realized "This is. . .Star Trek. This is TOS with a new cast." Every little thing about it made me chuckle and go "Yes, you got that right!" It just feels like the right mix of camp and seriousness. From VaASF2fGUIs To "He's an Angry Future Romulan. . ." and Pine's performance during the Kobayashi Maru scenario, I love the way it's all been done. Yes, gaping plotholes. Yes, the plot couldn't be any more sci-fi if it tried. But I feel like it was done right.

I mean that you should see it, immediately, post-haste, forthwith, without pause or constraint.

I don't know whether to applaud you or call you a douchepopsicle, TP. Here, this'll solve it. (Brilliantly evil post, either way.)

Has anyone here not seen the new Star Trek movie? Do so now.

I didn't like the term fascism in relation to the recent political events in that we still have rights and the Gestapo hasn't reared its head for the new millennium, or anything of that sort. That said, I'm beginning to slowly agree with you, Kingz. The country is certainly going, well. . . FjjNbzLzTUE

Someone mentioned they were playing Divinity 2? How did that go?

I absolutely adored DMoM&M multiplayer. I played a fire mage, which allowed you to direct a fireball after launching, allowing for ridiculous nonsense if you were fast enough. CTF was never more fun.

Consider me on board. Risen is good stuff. Certainly my favorite in the Gothic tradition, slipping just past 2.
