This, one thousand times this. Morrowind to Oblivion for example. On the path to the first town in Morrowind (well, the first 'hub' of sorts) you have three opportunities for a horrible and painful death. More, actually, but these are the essentially guaranteed ones. One is a cave filled with ghosts, various undead and a minor lich-like creature. (Good luck having the required magical weapon/spell by this point to kill a ghost.) One is a godsdamned shithole filled with bandits and assorted magical assholes who can basically one shot you. (Not the one directly outside Sedya Neen, which also qualifies.) And the third is taking a right instead of a left, and walking into the ashlands, where you immediately get mobbed to death by FUCKING CLIFF RACERS. (Fuck cliff racers, by the way.) I'm not necessarily saying games should punish you like a mentally deficient person who got their hands on a rocket launcher, but let me poke about a bit and figure it all out myself, hey? E: Oh, for comparison, you could walk into anywhere but a main quest dungeon in Oblivion (which were usually blocked anyway) at level 1 and fight nothing but rats. Bullshit.

For some reason, despite not being a huge comics-interested person, I've seen pretty much every comic movie to come out in the last. . .when was Spiderman 1? A few years, anyway. That said, the assorted Lantern Corps have always kept my interest. So yeah, I'm excited/intrigued/definitely going to see this. FbyJSbimX0Y

That piston jump/launch function makes me envision a thing where you strip mine a place, and throw it all into a storage cart, and up a shaft into water, where it floats to your home. Not sure how minecart + water works currently, but unfortunately it used to be broken. -
So because I've decided to delay purchasing Portal 2 (being that P2, while amazing looking, wouldn't see enough use from me,) I got this instead. Back eventually (probably sometime this weekend) with a verdict/scoff/hmm.

This basically describes any trip to the doctor for me, as I only go when shit surpasses my (incredibly low) pain threshold. (Earaches, for example, destroy me. I am a baby.) And by the time someone says this to me, I'm a wreck.

My only experience with the San Francisco area is via Midtown Madness 2. Subsequently, I wouldn't touch it with a nuclear weapon. There are people driving around in Mini Coopers in excess of 150MPH. (I wish I could go. Tell Jordan Mechner he's "wicked awesome" for me.)

I was tempted to call Forbin a blowhard ('cause I like the word "blowhard" to describe people, mostly) but if he has in fact disseminated this information solely through the Steam forums. . .heh. I've spent some time on there (more than I'd like) and Obi-Wan Kenobi's description of Mos Eisley fits. . .well, like an evil glove.

Look at what you have wrought, Kolzig.

Someone, I forget who, recorded the burning of the Targeting Reticle Building (I know it's a building somewhere, but I forget what!) and the World Tree. Got those floating around on a HD somewhere, someone? -
Does anyone else find one of the magical factors of the Muppets this face? (Kermit.) Every time I see a character do that, I grin like a madman. It's the perfect "I am not amused" face. (The shopkeep does it at :30, for reference.)

I am quite clean, thank you. (Though also not a socialist, so the point may be moot!) Good luck, Pirate!

Enjoy the horrible, soul-rending screech of the (banshee) ghasts. And the crying of the pigmen. That place fucks with you like. . .like a place that fucks with you. I hate the Nether. -
To each their own. Two things: I went back searching through the thread for some more upbeat/bass-driven music for HoN and found two things. One: Rodi, I'm horribly sorry! You recommended Soil and "Pimp" Sessions a billion years before I did. I am the suck. Two: I wish I were more into electronica type stuff, 'cause there sure is an awful lot of that floating around. Finally, a micro-Third: 6Nh49a8q2E4 This has been stuck in my head for weeks. But I really can't complain. (E:Also; I SHED THE BLOOD OF A SAXON MAN. Why did I listen to that entire thing?)

Yes, it's edited, but I just can't get over how seriously she takes it. osfEQTR-45M Wrong video. Still fantastic!

As I said on the RPS comments for Bot Trust; Find me a human being on earth that does not like J. K. Simmons voice, and I will find us a pair of baseball bats. Hell, I've even started watching The Closer. And I abso-fucking-loutely loathe Kyra Sedgwik.

I actually clapped, slowly, after that. Magnificent. Thanks TP!

. . .I really don't know what to say to that. Maybe. . . You're welcome for being informed on the matter of time-traveling jewish warlocks who are also wizards. What.

. . .Bite you and scratch you! Beat you and kill you! (I don't speak Spanish. )

I believe that was. . .sarcasm. As in "If you can avoid using water for a week, you'll be fine! Oh, wait. . ."

I think the issue with SuckerPunch (two words, one?) is that Zack Snyder is an interpretive genius. . .and a madman. As long as he sticks to things he didn't create, he seems to do okay. I could be jumping the gun on that of course, but two issues arise there. After Sucker Punch, is anyone going to let him do anything original again so we can find out? And two, if they are, he hasn't yet, so. . .remains to be seen.

Am I stupid in thinking that Doctor Who's Weeping Angels are infinitely scarier than say, SAW, or Paranormal Activity? They fuck with me on a deep psychological level, do Weeping Angels. Where as for the aforementioned movies, I have to stop from breaking out in howling laughter. Crazy? Y/N.

Not to make light of your plight Rodi, but can I use that? That said, a loan would seem like a good idea, if you absolutely must (acquit) leave.

If you have Netflix on tap, give Eureka a go.

I stand corrected, thank you sir.
