Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server
Orv replied to MrHoatzin's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Normally, I'd agree, but uh; http://notch.tumblr.com/post/6969771554/back-in-the-office-and-some-words-on-1-7-and-1-8 1.7 is going to release shortly, and be bugfixes and pistons. 1.8 will be the Adventure update and is "a long time away." So I'd like to see this through, though I suspect I'm going into a limitation that stopped me from trying this project until now. We'll see. -

The implications of that idea are. . .interesting. That said, I didn't expect it to be any of our regulars. We had several new people yesterday that I didn't recognize, so that was my assumption. Either way, problem solved, whatever happened happened. I came across as a grabby kindergardener and that wasn't my intent. I'm just overly protective of this project because of how weird it is for me. -

I don't want to be a dick, but whoever installed glass/glowstone and the glass wall in my cave, please don't. There's a point to it being dark. I was going to make a much angrier post, but decided against it. Screwing with other peoples work is the ultimate form of "not cool" in MC. As such, I've decided to seal the cave for now. If you must look, the hole in the roof is still there, but don't mess with things. (They even saw fit to remove the sign declaring it as mine. Now I'm just pissed off.) -
Large hats. Shooting men. Liberal (as mentioned, often ridiculous) cursing. Saloon doors! What more can a man ask for? (If it doesn't cost you anything to try it other than say, a store rental/netflix, give it a go.)

I covered my mouth in sympathy at that picture, Nach. It can't help but be right.

So since the world rerolled I've been building a cave. I say building, I mean exploding. This is how it looks now (just before the last wave of TNT based excavation); And this is the eventual result (I hope); Mind, I'm not sure how much of that screen I can accomplish thanks to the engine of Minecraft. It'll be a bit! -

Underground mobs still screw my primary project over, is my main concern. But if I'm out-voted, I'm out-voted. I'll log on shortly for Deconstruction. -

I'd like to ramble for a moment, if you'll indulge me. TL;DR below. I've been playing Minecraft again pretty regularly, but I haven't been playing on our server. I've been in SP, on gasp Peaceful. Why? Because I'm tired of getting mobbed by, well, mobs, when I'm trying to build my house, or mine or what have you. We've never treated this as a sort of communal long-term zombie co-op game. We've always treated it as communal build ground. I'd love for people to see the cavern and city inside the cavern I've just spent the last week making, but I did in in SP, because I don't want to be dealing with a creeper every five minutes as I dig out a 400x400x300 cavern. TL;DR - When we reset, maybe no mobs? (If mobs are already off and I'm a putz, tell me so and I'll edit this.) -

Not to uh. . .not to be a dick, but this isn't going to be a constant thing, is it? -
Dwarf Fortress- Or how I learned to stop worrying and love the rum.

You'll either delete it in three hours or we won't see you for months. Strike the earth! -
I couldn't find this post for days. I'm not sure if there's any way to gift it.

Edited: I felt mean. You horrible people.

Mountain, so the problem remains regardless of semantics. But I can probably swing something for your time-zone. And Subbes, that doesn't bother me. I wouldn't want to play Magicka in a sitting in the first place, that's for sure.

So, I hear tell from various sourci that the netcode is mostly not shit now. Is there a contingent of fellows who haven't finished the game and would like to co-op it through in a weekend or two?

Lash out at anyone who looks at you funny like an injured mother bear. You can continue playing after you fail your campaign objective, but if you want to hit that objective, you're going to need to pull out the stops and murder the nearest, weakest defended available provinces. TO WAR!

You buy one of their other games, which grants you full and immediate access to Project Zomboid, forever. I've played through the demo (pre-being taken down due to piracy) and really enjoyed the concepts on display. Hopefully it lives up to that potential.

My issue is that I don't know what kind of author Rowling is. My concern is that she'd continue the series for money. She might not be doing that, it may be what she really wants to do. But that's what I'm afraid of, and writing purely for the money. . .passion writes better stories than cash. (But the epilogue was shit, yes.)

I actually quite enjoyed Harry Potter. I even enjoyed the movies. That said, I think it can be left where it is. I don't think it needs to be continued. (Not that you're not right. /bitter)

I think the real question here is how many people have had heart attacks at that hospital as a result of cupboards moving on their own.

I actually just used the SA forums to find something I've been asking people on the internet about for years. Turns out it was an MMO called "10six" with hoverboards, base building and PVP. It's good to know that game wasn't some kind of fever dream and actually happened.

Oh, I'd gladly take it if you have no objections.

Why do you have such retarded/awesome news anchors, Thompson?
