So I quit trying to finish Ocarina. As far as I can tell, I put ~17 hours into it. My opinion of Zelda remains mostly unchanged. Changes of opinion: - Nicely designed dungeons. Sometimes. - Hey, I now get that joke about the godsdamned fucking fairy. Oh gods, why. - Why was the N64 controller so horrible? Other than that, I cannot and will not ever touch another Zelda game.

None of that bothers me, honestly. Medium armor was never useful to me in Morrowind or Oblivion. I liked Bonemould armor, but not enough to focus on it. Not when light had Glass, Dark Brotherhood, Chitin and so forth. And even then, heavy armor had Indoril, Ebony, Iron. Hell, I think the Bloodmoon ice armor was heavy. (Indoril may have been Medium, my memory is fuzzy there.) Armor design linkage. . .does that really bother you? Tell me how you feel. (Seriously, if it does, tell me why.) Quest structure in both games seemed fine to me. Admittedly, yes, Skyrim probably won't field the "solve this quest 10 different ways" system, but that's okay to me. And bar fights? That's just cool.

I. . .don't have that problem? Might be something locally. And as Patters said: The Complete mods, while not necessary, take STALKER from "damn good" to "oh gods, where did my afternoon, evening and weekend go?!"

I haven't watched the video yet, but strictly speaking, since the water used to create a TNT cannons function dampens the explosion, can't you build the cannon out of dispensers? Auto-refilling cannon.

I've run into a snag in the Ocampa construction, so I'm taking a break from that today to find a nice big forest and create a giant Ewok/Lothlorien-like thing. Construction will resume on my cave when I figure out how to do this without screwing it up/causing an extra 20 hours of work for myself.

NOTE: This is not necessarily a recommendation. It's more of a consideration/quest for the thoughts of others. So, Andromeda. I've watched Season 1 a few times over the last couple of decades. I think this last time was the fourth. But I've always either been stopped by; 1. The place I was watching it didn't have Season 2+ 2. The Magog episodes that intertwine Season 1 and Season 2 are. . .surprisingly disturbing. But, I have a gigantic mancrush on Kevin Sorbo, and the week or so I spend with Season 1 every so often finally lead me to get the whole set. I'm currently _______ deep (insert appropriate/inappropriate body part) into Season 2 and immensely enjoying it. I don't regret the purchase at all, and suspect this won't be my only time through the series in the next few years. TL;DR - Gene Roddenbery's Andromeda = Good. Thoughts?
