As much as I like you all, maybe I shouldn't read certain threads in this forum before waking up fully. . .

So I was attempting to do sort of a "whatever feels necessary at the time" run for my first go through. Basically, if it feels like I should kill this guy because of X number of reasons, I do so. The XP makes it a little harder to justify lethality, but whatever. Unnnnfortunately, while in the second city hub at I'm pretty sure I just had a gunfight with half of China. There are a lot of bodies in this hallway. . .

Well, now I have a way to further disconcert people I want nothing to do with when I'm forced to talk to them. Cheers! (I was never much of a historian of the Roman period. I sort of go from the Helenistic and jump right into the early Dark Ages when it comes to history I like.)

It says a lot about me that I'd be willing to read that book because of my interest in nigh-terrible 60-80s sci-fi. This is as good a place as any to ask; Rodi, what's up with your signature? I love it, but it confuses me.

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/08/24/steam-is-offering-refunds-for-from-dust/ I find this, in order of import: - Hilarious - Depressing - In-no-way surprising. Gogo Oobisoft!

See, I understand what is occurring in the picture, but I don't understand why she's in lingerie. Is there some kind of clingy static issue with old cartridges? (That just seems needless.)

You mean the part where he is a Lord of interstitial space, except instead of Time he controls Friction and Gravity? I don't see how that could be a problem. . .
-
Yeah, I would imagine that's considerably later. The opening 10-ish hours from the preview build set things up quite nicely and explain everything well. You shouldn't need to worry about access-ability.
-
I, uh, sort of took the moral high-ground and, having pre-ordered DE3 when it came up for it, poked around and got the preview build that was leaked. I can safely say that it generally explains it to you pretty well. I don't know where the Gamescom demo starts, mind you.

Try your level best to fall to your death due to equipment failure, apparently.

That is visceral!. . .-ly disturbing. What the hell.

Seconding this. Ink is strangely compelling.

How did it take so long for someone to do that?
-
How can you even ask that question, Thunder? I thought you were a good person. The writing for Babylon 5 is surprisingly fantastic considering that it's sort of the height of cheesy, feel-good sci-fi. Give it a watch.

Sat down and watched the keynote. John Carmack is probably pretty far up there on my list of people that I'd like to be around. Just inhabit their existence for a couple hours. Other game developers that qualify for that for me would probably be Todd Howard and Ken Levine, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Cool people, good tech talk.

Man Nappi, never ever play Thief, if you feel that way.

I cannot begin to imagine why the Snack Mistress might dislike the guy in the green shirt. He seems like a fantastic person.

Fleetwood Mac is utterly destroying any and all productivity. I practically slip into a fugue state whenever something of theirs comes up on my playlist and I'm not actively doing something. 6ul-cZyuYq4 (I just, without intending to, typed POUTUBE]. I might need sleep.)

Ahhhhhh. I think that's just that sort of low-lands/mountain area, but I'm sure even that has plenty of explorable spaces.
-
Uh, I. . .what Toblix? I think I sort of get where you're going with that, but let me try and clarify it. You mean that Todd goes from point A to point B and doesn't deviate, doesn't turn left or right, really, yeah? Because yeah, he doesn't, because it's basically scripted for that. (Ergo, that dragon might not be there at Bleakfall Barrows in the real game.) But there are a number of journalist previews coming out of Quakecon in which they're given a mid-level character with some gear, and told to do whatever. Several of them, having seen the presentation, wander off in completely different directions. As far as I know, the world is 100% open. (Though probably more like 90-95%. I'm sure there's a cave/something that you can't get in without the main quest.)

My biggest issue with Oblivion (already partially stated and most people will tell you this as well) is that it's rather dull. Bland. Generic. It's very much Fantasy World #2453. If they fix that, making Skyrim interesting again, improving the Oblivion combat some, and refining certain gameplay mechanics. . .as I've said before, sign me up.

So I don't know about the legality of this (there probably isn't any, considering their mild plea in the video) but here. (Spoilers in case you have cramping ethical humanity left.) It's the QuakeCon presentation. Sync is a little messy towards the end.
